Other Matters
The meeting started with a prayer led by Mr. Rowell Udalve. Reading of the previous minutes of the meeting by the secretary, Ms. Joann J. Fuertes, followed thereafter. The latter was approved by the body.
NSTP Orientation Ms. Cachuela had informed the board members that the copy of the back draft for June 22’s event was already presented to her by the president of Visual Arts. Mangrove Planting The presiding officer had told the body that there will be another mangrove planting activity in Brgy. Sanggilangan, Ma-a on June 15, 2008. She added that the organization shall shoulder the expenses for food and seedlings. Coastal Clean-Up Ms. Cachuela had also informed the body regarding the coastal clean-up on June 22, 2008. She reminded the heads of the said activity to make the project proposal. Fun Run ’08 The sponsorship package matrix was changed by the president. Below is the new matrix:

Patrick (PhP 2,500): 5 slots; 3 acknowledgements by the emcee; 25% of all the promotional materials; 2 banners; no booth; a souvenir and plaque of appreciation.

Spongebob (PhP 3,500): 3 slots; 5 acknowledgements by the emcee; 50% of al the promotional materials; 3 banners; no booth; a souvenir and plaque of appreciation.

Squidward (PhP 5,000): 2 slots; 8 acknowledgements by the emcee; 75% of all the promotional materials; 5 banners; 1 booth; product lock-up; a souvenir and plaque of appreciation.
For the benefactors: Category A – PhP 1,000; one acknowledgement by the emcee Category B – PhP 1,500; two acknowledgements by the emcee; 1 banner (2x5) Each board member was also tasked to look for at least one benefactor. Ms. Cachuela had reminded the program committee with regards to the letters for fun run. To avoid any issue to arise from the said activity, the registration fee was changed. Suggestions were made by the president which were the following: PhP 50, PhP 60, and PhP 75. Votation was done. Nobody voted for PhP 50; three voted for PhP 60; and nine of the board members voted for PhP 75. With that, the registration fee was finalized and it is PhP 75.
The president had also opened up the possibility of borrowing PhP 10,000 from the NSTP department in order to meet the needs of the event. Other Matters Ms. Cachuela assigned Ms. Ledesma and Ms. Tajore to post an announcement for those who were not able to claim their NSRC shirts. No receipt, no shirt shall be strictly implemented. There having no further concerns, the meeting was adjourned at 12:00 noon.
