PARÁMETROS DE DISEÑO Y CONSIDERACIONES ESTRUCTURALES Se proyecta diseñar un desarenador, una planta de tratamiento y un tanque enterrado de almacenamiento de agua potable con capacidad para aproximadamente 250m3 en concreto reforzado. Estas estructuras se diseñaron para que tengan resistencia y rigidez adecuadas ante las cargas de diseño de acuerdo con las disposiciones de la NSR-10 (Reglamento Colombiano de Construcciones Sismo Resistente). El desarenador tiene unas dimensiones de 11.90 de largo, 5.55m de ancho y una profundidad promedio de 2.95m, esta conformado por una estructura en muros de concreto cuyo espesor es de 25cm. Este tiene unas cámaras anexas en muros de concreto de 20cm de espesor. La planta de Tratamiento tiene unas dimensiones de 9.21m de ancho, 11.80m de largo y profundidades variables. Ella esta conformada por una zona de floculadores, canal de lavado, filtros y un canal recolector de agua filtrada. Los muros de esta estructura son de espesor de 15 y 20cm. El tanque se diseñó con las dimensiones de 11.80m de largo, 8.70m de ancho y una profundidad de 3.00m. La estructura de cubierta es una losa aligerada en concreto cuyo espesor es de 0.30m, armada en una dirección, soportado por un sistema estructural aporticado y en el perímetro, muros en concreto cuyo espesor es de 0.25m. Lo anterior mejora el comportamiento en conjunto, ante cargas verticales y horizontales. La cimentación esta compuesta por zapatas amaradas con vigas de cimentación y una placa de fondo cuyo espesor es de 0.25m que sirve para darle estabilidad a la estructura ante el volcamiento.

1.0 MATERIALES Concreto: Debe tener una resistencia a la compresión simple a los 28 días, f’c igual o superior a 28.0 MPa (280 kg/cm2) (4.000 PSI). Acero de refuerzo: Debe tener un límite de fluencia, fy igual a 420 MPa (4200 kg/cm2) (60.000 PSI). El módulo de elasticidad usado es según la ecuación Ec = 4700√f’c en MPa NSR-10 C.8.5 Ec = 4700√28 = 24870 MPa 2.0 FUERZAS GRAVITATORIAS SOBRE LA CUBIERTA TANQUE Para las vigas de la cubierta, se consideró una carga viva por mantenimiento y carga muerta debido al peso propio de cada elemento. la reacción de el suelo ante las cargas de peso propio y carga viva de la cubierta, pasarelas y los muros. Presión Hidrostática (B): Si existe nivel freático al hacer la excavación, se debe construir un filtro al lado de los muros y por debajo de la cimentación con el fin de que la presión no nos afecte la estructura. Presión lateral del terreno (H1): Esta dada por la siguiente formula: H1 = Ka x t x A x h Dónde: Ka: Coeficiente de empuje lateral de terreno. Kae: Coeficiente de empuje lateral dinámico por sismo t : Peso unitario del terreno = 1.8 ton/m3 A: Ancho franja = 1m h: altura terreno = 3.30m Para un Angulo de reposo = 0, y un Angulo de fricción de 30º, el Ka calculado es 0.33 y el Kae= 0.50 (ver anexo diseño muro) *. Caso Estanqueidad: El tanque esta lleno. Sobre los muros actua el empuje del agua (B) y sobre la losa actua el peso de agua y al reacción de suelo ante esta carga y el peso propio y carga viva de la cubierta y los muros. Algunos elementos estructurales se modelo con elementos sometido a flexión y cortante de un metro de ancho, El suelo se modelo como resortes con un modulo de reacción de terreno de 2.92 kg/cm3 o 2920 ton/m3 que es el que corresponde a un suelo con una capacidad portante de 1.4Kg/cm2. Los cálculos se hicieron con un programa de análisis y diseño estructural (SAP2000) sobre la cual se monto el modelo estructural de cada elemento a analizar y diseña. Para la modelación del tanque ante cargas sísmicas y gravitacionales se uso un modelo en Etabs, donde se colocan todos los elementos estructurales que conforman el tanque. 4.0 FUERZAS SÍSMICAS. 4.1 Espectro de diseño (A.2.6 – NSR-10)

Espectro de diseño y parámetros usados
La torsión accidental es 5% y p a = 1.00; Ro = R.=4.0 Las combinaciones de carga utilizadas fueron: Para la cubierta 1.4D 1.2D+ 1.6L 1.2D+ 1.0E + 1.0L 0.9D+ 1.0E Para los muros 1.2D+ 1.6 (L+H) 0.9D+ 1.0E Al hacer el análisis de la estructura la mayor deriva de la estructura es de .000074% (ver anexo Derivas) el cual es mucho menor a la deriva máxima permitida por NSR-10, la cual es de (1% altura). Esto nos muestra que al actuar el sismo en la estructura esta es tan rigida por la conformacion de los muros que prácticamente la estructura no se desplaza.

5.0 JUNTAS DE CONSTRUCCION Y DILATACION Las juntas de construcción se proporcionan en la estructura con el objeto de segmentarla en unidades más pequeñas, de acuerdo con la capacidad de construcción en la obra. Su función es la de separar una etapa de la colocación del concreto respecto a la subsecuente. Todo el acero de refuerzo se debe continuar a lo largo o a través de las juntas de construcción, siendo necesaria la colocación de un dispositivo de retención de agua como cintas de PVC, para garantizar la estanqueidad del tanque. La posición de las juntas de construcción se indicará en los planos respectivos. Si el contratista requiere aumentar el número o cambiar la posición de dichas juntas, deberá contar con la aprobación previa de la dirección de la obra. Los dispositivos de retención de agua fabricados con caucho, vinil, metal u otros materiales aprobados, deberán tener contornos y patrones que estén de acuerdo con la función que vayan a desempeñar. Estos dispositivos para retener el agua se encuentran disponibles en diversas configuraciones, aunque esencialmente son bandas preformadas de un material impermeable y durable, generalmente de hule, o de PVC; aun cuando también se usa el cobre y el acero. Durante la construcción se empotrarán parcial o totalmente en el concreto para cubrir la junta, proporcionándose así una barrera permanente al paso del líquido, aun para los movimientos posteriores de la junta.
