SYSTEMS System : Administrator : Add Admins • • • • • •

This screen allows you, the super admin, to create customized administrative frontends for some other users, so that they can have full/limited access from the frontend using their login name instead of suadmin. The menu and sub menu elements of the administrative frontend are listed on the right hand side. You can expand specific element in the menu selection "tree" by clicking on the triangles along the check boxes. If you want to give Full/Restricted Access to the user, fill in the username and password, and choose the respective option. In case of Restricted Access select the menu, sub menu elements you want the user to see when he/she logs in. If you want to give Full/Restricted Access to the user, fill in the username and password, and choose the respective option. In case of Restricted Access, select the menu, sub menu elements you want the user to see when he/she logs in. Click the submit button to create the user.

System : Administrator : Change Email • • •

This screen allows you to specify / change Admin email addresses. Update notices, patches and other communications meant for the system admin are sent to email addresses listed here. E.g. Antivirus update notifications, new RPMs etc. NOTE: You can give multiple email addresses by separating them with comma (,)

System : Administrator : Manage Admins • • • • • • •

This screen allows you to manage the admins/users who can access the administrative frontend of Mailserv. Here you can take the following action for the admins ... Modify the password for an admin. Modify the list of menus, submenus you want to an admin to view. Delete the frontend for an admin. You can also modify your(suadmin) password for accessing this frontend. If You give Full Access to the User, you can login to the Login page of that user by clicking on the link given in the suadmin. If You give Restricted Access to User, you can login to the Login page of that user by clicking on the link

given in the suadmin.

System : Administrator : Allowed Ips •

This screen allows users to add ips for suadmin frontend access, so that only selected ips can access the suadmin page.

Enter Valid IP address to be added and click on Add button to add to allowed IP's list. Format of the ips should be X.X.X.X where each X should be integer between 0 and 255. Admin can also view list of existing allowed ip addresses. To remove Allowed IP's from the list then check the checkbox and click on Delete.

The MailServ license can be viewed using this option Globaldomain : Global domain defiend for the mailserver. Module : You can view the modules information taken by you like mod_advanced_proxy(Squid),

mod_f-prot_antivirus (F-Prot antivirus) mod_http_virus_scanning (Dansguradian). Localdomain : Local domain id the location wise domain name given to your mailserver. Expire : The license expiry date can be viewed which will help you to renew your license in case it is expired.



Users: You can also view the total number of users for which the license it taking.

Click "Browse" to select the License Key file from local machine and then click on "Upload". NOTE: The product gets registered / activated only if the file contains a valid license key.

System : Maintenance : Optimize Disk Space This option will delete the old logs files from hard disk and make available free space on the hard disk System : Maintenance : Backup : Download • • • • •

Lists all previously taken backups along with the date they were taken on. Click on the "Download" link to download the backup file on your local machine. While downloading the Backups, download the related Full/Differential Backups. You can delete the Backups by clicking on the Delete link. NOTE: Don't Delete Latest Backups which may be useful for future, Delete only Old Backups.

System : Maintenance : Backup : Backup Now Used for starting the MailServ backup instantly System : Maintenance : Backup : Configure Backup • •

This screen allows you to configure the backup mechanism as per the needs of your organization. You can take full/differential backups on HDD/Tape. Keep backups for days Set it to 'N' (the number of days) you want the backup files to be kept. Set it to '0' (zero) if you want to keep only the latest backup file.

You can enter the email-id to which the Backup Status is to be sent after completion of backup process. Differential Backup Checking this box would enable the differential backup Here you can also set the frequency for full backup with respect to differential backups



Backup to Tape



Checking this box would enable tape backup



You can then set whether the old backups on the tape should be erased from it when a new full backup it is copied on it.



You can also set the email ids (comma separated) to whom the index of the tape needs to be sent.



Note Please enter Keep backup days at least greater than by two ,to the value in every differential backup.

System : Maintenance : Backup : Remote Backup •

By default the backup is stored on MailServ. With this function you can make an additional copy on another Windows/Linux machine.



Select "Enable" to enable copying archives on a remote machine.



Machine Name/ IP : Fill this text box with the name of the Windows/Linux machine or the ip address of the Windows/Linux machine to be used for storing the backup files.



Share Name: The directory on the Windows/Linux machine that will store the backup files. Enter the name of shared folder/directory in this textbox.



Share Password: Required if the shared folder specified above has an access password. Optional field.



User Name: An optional field to be filled only for Windows server class family/Linux machines.

System : Maintenance : Backup : Restore from HDD •

This Screen shows the backup files available according to date.



Before starting with the restoration make sure that the backup file of required date is available in the list. If the required date does not appear in the list. Please copy the required files from your secondary media for backup (e.g. Windows Machine or CD_ROM), please copy the directory (named in 'yyyymmdd' format) in the path '/net/doc/netserv/backup/dar' so that it's shown in the list.



Select an appropriate date and click on restore button to restore files from the backup



WARNING: MailServ machine will be rebooted in order to complete the restor process.



Restore backup for only selective users Select the date and time of the existing backup. Once this option is enabled, you will get the list of the users below for which you want to selectively restore the mails from the existing backup.

Used for restoring the backup from remote backup server.

This Screen shows the backup files available according to date.

System : Remote Admin : Netcore Support You will be able to generate the ssh and https port numbers, which you can given to the Netcore Support Team for remote access of your mail server. System : Configure System •

This page allows administrator to configure Global and Local domain names.



This page also allows administrator to configure incoming mail server for UUCP.



If your incoming mail server is UUCP (i.e. if your mails are hosted with netcore, then select the UUCP and enter the appropriate entries i.e. Server name, Node name and Password.



All the fields are compulsory.



Current Mail Relay: Shows the currently set Mail Relay.



Mail Relay: By default, UUCP (Unix to Unix Copy Protocol) is used for mail transactions with the Netcore Mail Server. Choose this option if you want to use the Netcore Mail Server for relaying. Direct: This would make MailServ talk with Internet directly without the Netcore Mail Server playing any part. SMTP Relay: MailServ would use the specified SMTP server and that server would then take care of sending your mails across.



Relay Server: Name / IP of the relaying server. This is the actual machine that relays the mails.



Server Requires Auth: If this option is enabled, you need to add the login name and password required fir smtp authentication.



Max Outgoing Size (in KB): Enter the maximum size an individual outgoing mail can have. If the mail size exceeds the given limit, the mail doesn't go out and bounces back to the user.



If you are Integrating Mailserv with any other Messaging System, (e.g. Exchange Server, Lotus Server etc) please select the 'yes' option and give relevant IP or Host Name. You also need to add the domain to be integrated.



NOTE: Mail size also includes the mail headers created by the mail client. Therefore the actual size of the mail should be slightly less than the Max Outgoing Size.

NETWORK Network : ADSL : Configure •

This Screen allows you to configure your ADSL connection.



The following fields will be provided by your ISP : • Username/Password Primary & Secondary DNS Server Service Name & AC Name NIC(Ethernet) : The LAN card used to make the connection. Entry will contain eth0, eth1 depending on which lan card you are configuring.

Used for manually connecting the ADSL

Used for manually disconnecting the ADSL

Network : Advanced : ADS Integration •

Enter Details of ADS Server and Click on verify button to determine if information entered can be properly authenticated or not.



If details entered get authenticated then Admin will be shown options for ADS-Authentication,ADSAutocreation and Syncronisation of Address Book Information. Enabling Ads Authentication will configure MailServ for ADS Server Authentication(i.e authentication of users will happen through ADS Server). If ADS Server Authentication authentication is enabled and also ADS autocreation is enabled then all users in ADS not integrated with Exchange/Lotus Server will be added in MAILSERV as mailbox users. If ADS Server Authentication authentication and ADS autocreation as well as Syncronisation(of Address Book Info) is enabled then all users in ADS Server integrated with Exchange/Lotus Server will be added in MAILSERV as contact users and those users of ADS Server not integrated with Exchange/Lotus Server will be added in MAILSERV as mailbox users. (If ADS Server Authentication is enabled and ADS autocreation is disabled) or (If ADS Server Authentication is disabled)

and ADS Syncronisation (of Address Book Info) is enabled then all users in ADS Server irrespective of whether they are integrated or not with Exchange/Lotus Servers will be added in mailserv as Contact users.

Network : Advanced : Configure IP •

This page allows the administrator to change IP addresses.

Please Note that IP will be changed at all the places. You can change IP of only one interface at a time.

Network : Advanced : Configure Network Routing •

Routes to networks can be Added / Edited / Deleted using this function.

Network Routing configuration is adding a new network route to your network. Click on ADD For adding, The page will be displayed for adding new network Here you have to give new network IP, netmask and gateway, to reach that network. Select the networks for deletion then click on DELETE to delete that network from your network. Click on the link of network to edit the network.

--------------------------Steps for adding routes:--------------------------• • • •

Network: Fill the Network ID for which you wish to add route e.g. (192.168.10.0). NetMask: Enter Ne tmask for the above-mentioned network ID. Gateway: Enter the IP address of the gateway system used to reach the above network. Interface: Select the appropriate interface such as eth0 (Ethernet card0), eth1 (Ethernet card 1) that will be used to route information

Network : Advanced : Configure Reverse DNS •

Reverse DNS turns an IP address into a hostname (Domain Name) unlike Standard DNS where are turning a hostname into an IP address takes place. -- for example, it might turn 192.0.2.25 into host.example.com



ADD: Network ID: Enter the Network ID of the new network. e.g. For the network 192.168.2.* having a netmask of 255.255.255.0, the Network ID is 192.16 8.2.0 DELETE: Select the network to delete.



Network : Advanced : Public IP or Hostname •

This page allows the administrator to change the Public IP address or the Resolvable Hostname for FreebusyURL .



Admin can also specify the type or name of the protocol which is used to connect to the Server.

Network : Advanced : SMTP Rewrite Rules •

This Screen allows users to add SMTP rewrite rules.



SMTP Rewrite Maps are normally used for when MailServ is relaying mails to Another Mailserv and if Email addresses need to be rewritten before sending it. For eg. if the local domain of the mail server is location.domain.com, in the smtp headers [email protected] will be added. If you want the location part to be removed from the smtp headers while delivering mails to other mail server you can achieve it using this option. Each domain and its mapping should consist of alphanumerics, hyphen, underscore and dot characters only.

Network : Email Setup : Block Attachments •

This screen shows the status of attachment blocking.

Enable: means all rules for attachment blocking are active and any rule if met will block the attachment. Disable: means all rules for attachment blocking are inactive and any rule if met will not block any of the attachment. If you want to add any rule click on the link for Add New Attachment Block. After all creating rules, Enable the block attachments. If you want to search or modify any rule groupwise and for All Users then click on the link View/Manage Rules for All Users/Groupwise. If you want to search or modify any rule Userwise then click on the link View/Manage Rules Userwise.

Network : Email Setup : Add Attachment Block Rules •

This Frontend Allows you to Add New Attachment Blocking Rules for allusers on this system, selected users or selected groups .



For Adding rules for all system users click on ALLUSERS , give proper extension list and select the action. There are 3 types of action possible, 'Delete', 'Notify Sender and Delete' and 'Delete and Forward To'. • If action is 'Delete' the mail with the blocked extension will be deleted. • If the action is ' Notify Sender and Delete', sender will get one notification that the mail with the blocked extension was deleted and the mail with that extension will be deleted. • If action is 'Delete and Forward To' then give valid email-id. NOTE: Action is available for ALLUSERS only and it over-writes the previous rule. For Adding rules for users click on Selected Users radio button and select the list from Left Hand Side box and click on Add>> to add to the list to which the rules to be applied. For Adding rules for Group click on Selected Group radio button, select the group. To EXEMPT some members from the group then select the group members from Right Hand Side box and click on <

Once the rules are made, click on Apply Policies, for applying the rules. You will require to restart the SMTP service after applying the rule.



In this page you will find Current Attachment Groupwise and Current Attachments Userwise

Network : Email Setup : View/Delete Group Attachment Rules •

This Frontend Allows you to Delete the Attachment rules of Groups and ALLUSERS.



If any rules exists for ALLUSERS then it's shown separately above the groups rules and if u want to delete the Rules of ALLUSERS click on the button Delete Rules of ALLUSERS. You can search the extension by entering extension and selecting any group or ALL GROUPS. NOTE: The group list shown are the groups which contains rules. For listing all extensions of selected group enter * or .* or leave nothing or space. Simply check the corresponding check box of which you want to delete the respected rules and click on button Delete Rules.

You an also prioritize the rules which you have added. You can use the up/down arrow next to Group Name, Attachment Extension and Exempted Users.



Click on Apply Policies to apply the rule

Network : Email Setup : View/Delete User Attachment Rules •

This Frontend Allows you to Delete the Attachment rules of Users.

Simply check the corresponding check box you want to delete the rules and click on button Delete Rules. NOTE:If you delete the attachment rule of the particular user, then his corresponding attachment rules that exists in his group will also be deleted (i.e, he is exempted from his groups in which the same attachment rules exists).



Click on Apply Policies to apply the rule

Network : Email Setup : Body block : Enable/Disable •

This screen shows the status of body blocking.

Enable : means all rules for body blocking are active and any rule if met will block the body. Disable : means all rules for body blocking are inactive and any rule if met will not block any of the body. If you want to add/edit an body block, click on Add/Edit Body Block After all creating rules, Enable the block body. If you want to view/delete the body blocked currently for All Users/Groupwise , click on View/Delete Rules for All Users/Groupwise If you want to view/delete the body blocked currently userwise , click on View/Delete Rules Userwise



Network : Email Setup : Add Body Block Rules •

This Frontend Allows you to Add New body Blocking Rules for selected users or selected groups .





For Adding rules for users click on Selected Users radio button and select the list from Left Hand Side box and click on Add>> to add to the list to which the rules to be applied. For Adding rules for Group click on Selected Group radio button, select the group. To EXEMPT some members from the group then select the group members from Right Hand Side box and click on <


Click on Apply policies Now to apply new rule.

Network : Email Setup : View/Delete User Body Block Rules • • •

This Frontend Allows you to Delete the body rules of Users. Simply check the corresponding check box you want to delete the rules and click on button Delete Rules. NOTE:If you delete the body rule of the particular user, then his corresponding body rules that exists in his group will also be deleted (i.e, he is exempted from his groups in which the same body rules exists).



Click on Apply policies Now to apply new rule.



For listing all the body block rules of all users in ALL DOMAINS enter * or.* or leave nothing or space in body contains and username contains and In Domain select ALL DOMAINS. Click on Submit.

This Frontend Allows you to Delete the Body rules of Groups.

You can search the body by entering body and selecting any group or ALL GROUPS. NOTE: The group list shown are the groups which contains rules. For listing all body of selected group enter * or .* or leave nothing or space. Simply check the corresponding check box of which you want to delete the respected rules and click on button Delete Rules.

If not, then select "Delete from Server" and all downloaded emails shall be deleted from the remote server. This is a useful option if one receives lot of emails and don't like to clog their inboxes. Domain Name: Enter the name of the domain that has been configured on your network. You can find configured domain name by clicking on Status->System Usage. Server Type: Select the type of service, IMAP or POP3 used by your email service provider. Server: Enter the Server name, from where you want to fetch the mails. It is usually the part that appears after "@" sign in this field. Username/Password: Specify the username and password of your mail account on the server from which you are fetching the mails.

The power of this feature lies in the fact that you can specify different expiry dates for different folders of a single email id. Select the checkbox given in the left in order to set the auto expire feature for a particular folder folder of an email ID. Further You can Create and Delete folders depending on your organizations requirements. There are three default folders "Inbox", "sent-mail", "Trash". Other than these three folders you can create and delete folders as per your requirement. In order to Add or Delete folders follow these steps : • Click on "Add or Delete Folder" button. It will give a pop up window for creating and deleting folders other than these three default folders • To delete a folder, click on the “Add or Delete Folder”, simply select the checkbox given before the folder name and click Delete. • To Add a folder simply type in the name of the folder in the text box given and click Add. Once you are through with the changes then click Done so that the changes made by you take effect in the main window.

Select the group for which the email restrictions are to be set. • Type email-ids or proper domain in the text box and click "Add". Enter only valid email addresses or domain names in Email Restriction text box. Clicking on Upload link will open a window through which u can upload a file of users Every email-id shouldn't contains its localdomain only globaldomains are allowed in emailids Every domain-name shouldn't contain it's location. Enter the moderators valid email ids separated by (,) commas. If moderators email id belongs to mailserv user then enter email id with localdomain to deliver the mail to moderator quickly. To delete a ID/domain from the group click on the ID/domain and click "Remove". NOTE: • If you checked the 'Allow' and 'Incoming' check boxes then the members of the group can only receive mail from the added email ids. In the same way if you checked 'Deny' and 'Both' check boxes then the members of the group can not receive or send mails to the email ids added. Changes will not take effect until you click on "Submit".

Watchdog : Watchdog is a dog guarding the door for you. In emailing terms, it means that you can monitor mails or archive mails for a particular email-id or a group of email-ids. You can set any email id as a watchdog for particular group, a copy of all incoming/outgoing mails to/from any member of a group would be received by watch dog email-id.



Watchdog does not affect the delivery of mails. In a way the mail is transparently forwarded to the watchdog email id. Select the group for which watch dog is to set. 1. Type watch dogs login ID in the text box and click "Add". 2. For eg. if you want to set 'wdog' user as watchdog for a domain netcore.co.in which in mumbai location you should set the watchdog as [email protected]. To delete a login id from the group click on the ID and press the "Remove" button. If you don't remember the watch dog id you can find it by clicking on "Search for User IDs". NOTE: Changes will not take effect until you click on "Submit".

To delete a user or multiple users, check the relevant boxes and click the delete button at the bottom of the screen. To delete all users use the topmost checkbox and click the 'delete' button at the bottom of the screen. Click on the userid to modify the user profile. Click on the password/forward/vacation/mailfetch icon to perform corresponding operation with repect to a particular user

Use this option to quickly add a single user or multiple users with minimum details.

Full Name: Enter the name of the user whose account is being created. Login: The Login ID forms the email id of the user. NOTE: • It can be alphanumeric i.e. contain letters and numbers. Default mailquota of user is (-1) i.e., inherit from uid domain's mailquota or GlobalQuota. Password: It should be of minimum 3 letters. STATUS Status : Connectivity • • •



Displays the status of MailServ's connection to the internet. Connection Status: Displays "Not Connected" if MailServ is not connected to the internet. Otherwise it shows the mode of connectivity i.e. "Dial-Up" or "Leased Line". If mode of connectivity is Dial-Up, the below information is displayed. Internet IP:- Dynamic IP alloted to MailServ on connection by the ISP. ISP:- Name of the ISP used for dialing. Last Connected on:- Date and Time when MailServ last connected to the internet. If mode of connectivity is Leased Line, the below information is displayed. Default Gateway IP Address:- This is the IP address of the Gateway that MailServ is using for connecting to the internet.

Status : Disk Usage • • • • •

Displays disk space information of a user's mailbox. User Limit: The maximum disk space (Mail Quota) that has been alloted to the user. Usage: This is the disk space that is currently occupied by the user's mailbox You can modify the Mail Quota for a user by clicking on his "Login". Percentage Used will show the percentage of the alloted space used by the user.

Status : Mail • • • •

Shows a list of pending outgoing emails that are yet to be sent. If all emails have already been dispatched it displays "NO MAILS IN QUEUE". Click on the "Mail-queue ID" to view the contents of an email. To Delete mails that are still in the outgoing queue click on it's corresponding check box and press "Delete".

Status : Mail Fetcher • • • •

Shows the status of the External Mail fetcher configured, whether Running or not. You can start the Mail fetcher by clicking on the Start Now link Also shows the date and time when the mail fetcher fetched the mails from the remote server. 'Total no of times mail fetched' shows the number of times the mail fetching process was executed.

Status : System Usage • • • • • • •

This screen displays System Information and Usage Statistics. System : Antivirus Last Updated: The date when the Antivirus files were last updated. If Antivirus is not installed it shows "Not Applicable". Disk Space: Space that is used and available on each hard disk partition. If the amount of space that is available is low you can increase it by cleaning unwanted files. Go to "System : Maintenance : Optimize Disk Space" for doing so. RAM / Memory Usage : Shows the utilization of the RAM and swap space. Load Average: Shows the load on the server since Past 1 min, Past 5 min and Past 15 min.

SCHEDULER Scheduler : External Mail Fetcher : Parallel •

For deciding the No. of Fetchmail instances, please involve Netcore Support as a higher number may slow down your MailServer considerably.



This function is used to set the time interval for fetching mails Parallely from the external POP / IMAP server. From the dropdown select the time interval at which MailServ should query the external server and download any new mails. If the "Connect to Internet" box is checked then internet connection will be established if required. Otherwise the external server cannot be checked for new mails if MailServ is not already connected to internet.

Scheduler : External Mail Fetcher •

Scheduler : Backup •

If you select the '09', '13' and '17' checkboxes, backup will be taken three times a day at 9 A.M. in the morning, 1 P.M. in the afternoon and 5 P.M. in the evening. "Reset Scheduler" will re-initialize the scheduler to take backup at the default time of 12 P.M. NOTE: There will be only one backup file created for a day. Multiple backups taken during a day will overwrite the previous backup file. NOTE: Please take care that the MailServ machine is ON at the time of the schedule otherwise there won't be any backups during that period.

Scheduler : Browsing Denial •

This function helps to disable browsing when MailServ is connected to internet for other purposes.

Select the time periods at which you want to disable browsing and click on "Update". "Reset Scheduler" clears the existing schedule. Changes will take effect within next 5 minutes. NOTE: Please restart the Proxy service for the changes to take effect.

Scheduler : Connectivity Denial •

This function helps to disable MailServ connecting to internet during the specified periods of time. MailServ works on the principle of Dial-on-Demand i.e. it connects to the internet whenever there is a need to do so. But with a "Connectivity Denial" schedule it won't connect even if there is a requirement.

Select the time periods at which you want to prevent MailServ from connecting to internet. "Reset Scheduler" clears the existing schedule. NOTE: This schedule has the highest precedence i.e. it overrides all other schedules. E.g. The "Email Schedular" is setup for 6 P.M. and the "Connectivity Denial" schedule is setup to prevent connection at 6 P.M.. In this case the "Email Schedular" will be overriden and MailServ would not connect to internet for mails.

Scheduler : Email •

Email Scheduler is used to setup the schedule for transacting mails with the Netcore Mail Server.

Current Schedule: Details of the current schedule. Hours: The Hour at which to transact. If you have multiple hours selected it would transact that many times during a day. Minutes: The time in Minutes at which to transact during the Hour(s) specified above. If you have multiple minutes selected it would transact those many times during those hours. This Screen will show you the Live Reports of browsing. This screen allows you to make search on IP/User or WebSite. To get the Sorted result you can select one of following from the Sort. USAGE : Will sort on the basis of Bytes Transfered, during Browsing in Descending Order TIME : You will get Report on the basis of Time (Latest will be on First Page i.e. Descending Order) . Reverse Usage : Will sort on the basis of Bytes Transfered, during Browsing in ascending Order Reverse Time : You will get Report on the basis of Time, ascending order. Results Per Page can be selected from 10, 25, 50, 100 & All. All means complete result will be shown in the single page. Note : Depending on the IP / Web Site selected put appropriate entry in the Search field. Please Submit for getting the results. If you type IP in the Search field then you will get the WebSites visited from that IP. Also if you type WebSite it will result all the IPs visited to that WebSite. From the Results by just clicking on IP/WebSite link, you will get search result for that IP/WebSite i.e. the website/ip address, access time and bytes transfered.

Name: The log-on name with which internet access was authenticated Hours: The number of hours (hours:minutes) spent connected to the internet for this user ID. Size: The number of bytes (kilobytes / megabytes, etc) downloaded during the time period. This includes both text, images and any other data

Gives the complete search reports of HTTP Browsing for specified time. i.e. from date and to date on the selected criteria viz. User, IP, Site with sort options Size, Time within the specified period in Ascending or Descending order. You can search on the basis of IP or Site or User. Shows you the connection logs for the dial up internet connection configured in the Mail server. NOTE: These logs would be generated when you are using Dial-up connection

Gives the summary of each users Mail Sent Size, Mail Received Size, Proxy Downloads Size. Each User's Total usage is the sum of all the 3 parameters. From the top search bar you can specify a From Date and To Date, to search for users usage report. Or if you select last 'n' days then reports for last n days are shown. You can view from 2 to 500 results per page using the Results Per Page criteria.

Reports : Mail : Fetchmail • •

This screen would give you the fetch mail report for each user. Depending on whether the mails were fetched successfully on the last attempt for the user, you would see messages, error or failed status for each user.

Shows the status of the Last attempt, login status by a particular user id The Type of the account pop/imap is also displayed. The reports are displayed in the ascending order.

Reports : Maillog : Internet Report • • •

This screen shows the Top Sender by no. of mails, Top Sender by Mail Size, Top recipient by no of mails and Top recipient by mail size for a time period selected using 'from date' and 'to date'. The report can also be viewed for the selected time period for the Top Senders and Recipients. You can also view the Summary Report and Detailed Search report by clicking on the specify link provided at the top of the page.

You can manage the web categories made by you using this screen Clicking on the delete option after selecting the policy will delete the concerned policy Clicking on the concerned policy will help you to edit that policy.

The web categories and groups will be seen in the Match ACLs list and don't match ACLs list. Policy is made for a group to allow or deny them the selected web categories at selected schedule. For eg. • Consider you make a web category named 'block' containing few sites and want to allow group 'user1' containing users u1,u2,u3,u4 and disallow group 'user2' containing user u3,u4,u5. Then you have to select Action 'Allow', in Match ACLs list select 'block' and 'user1' and from Don't Match ACL you have to select 'user2'. In this case the users u1 and u2 will be allowed the sites that are in block web category and rest of the users u3,u4,u5 will not be allowed to access those sites. Don't make any conflicting policies.

Object ID : A Unique Name by which you will be identifying your Host, Network, Remote Host etc. Network Number : You need to specify Network/IP Address of the Object you are defining. For a Network this would be the Base Network Address and for a Host it would be the Full IP Address of that Host. Netmask : The Network Mask of the Network Object. For a Host this would be 255.255.255.255 and for a Network it is the Network Mask of that particular LAN / WAN.(example 255.255.255.0).

Firewall Rules are a set of Rules that Allow or Deny IP packets based on the following information : Where the Packet is coming from Where the Packet is going to What Service the Packet is trying to Access Add New Rules on the Defined Net Objects and Services using the Add a New Rule Link Modify a Defined Rule by Clicking on it. Delete a Defined Rule by selecting it using the Checkbox before it and then Clicking the Delete Firewall Rules Button. Use the UP-Down Arrow Buttons to Change the Sequence in which the Firewall Rules are executed.

Enabled : This will allow you to enable or disable the rule. Protocol : This is a drop down field which allows you to select the protocol, TCP or UDP. Alias IP : Select an Alias IP from the list. Source NAT IP and Destination NAT IP are compulsory fields. Invalid IP addresses will not be accepted. Source Port and Destination port are optional fields. Destination port field is compulsory if the Source port is provided. Firewall : This field specifies whether a firewall needs to be added. Source IP: This field is allows you to specify the external source address. It will be disabled if Firewall field is specified as 'NO'. Gateway : It is a checkbox to specify whether the destination machine uses this firewall as the default gateway. Remark : You can give any remark regarding the rule. NOTE: Changes will not take effect until you click on Submit.
