Love Poem Ricardo Saúl LaRosa I pass by you everyday, As I do my heart explodes, With feelings I have never felt before, I am mesmerized by you, I would like to tell you that I am very attracted to you, I would like for us to get to know each other, But I do not have the courage to tell you face to face, For I am shy, This feeling inside is tormenting me, Sleepless nights thinking of you, This madness can not continue, Thus, I am writing you this love poem, Accompanying with these roses that I picked, From a rich man’s garden… Even though I have never tasted your tender lips, I know that they are the sweetest in Love’s creation, For I have kissed them a thousand times, In my mind, Even though I have never touched your skin, I know it is softer than silk, For I have touched you a thousand times, In my heart,
Even though I have never held you in my arms, I know that you are amazing to embrace, For I have held you in my arms a thousand times, In my soul, Even though I have never conversed with you, I know that you are wonderful to talk with, For I have spoken with you a thousand times, In my spirit, My shyness ends now in this poem! For I must tell you what I feel in my heart, I am not asking you to fall in love with me, I only asking for a chance to converse with you, For us to get to know one another, Gently and tenderly, I may assure you sweetness, That my intentions are honorable, I have placed my heart on the line, For you to notice me, I have done so with honor, And a longing that comes from a sincere heart, I ask for your presence tomorrow at noon, In the park, at the rose garden, by the statue of Venus, I await for you love’s sweetness sweet, With open arms and a willing heart…
