Log On-off Bus

LOGGING ON TO BUS

•

Locate SAP Logon icon on your desktop. a) If it is not there, contact the help desk for application installation.

•

Double click icon a) SAP Logon Box will pop up

•

Double click PRD [MMPP] or highlight PRD [MMPP] and click the “logon” button. a) this will launch BUS production application

•

Enter your User ID and Password.

•

<Enter> or click the “enter” button

in the top left corner.

a) ‘Client’ should default to 810. If not, enter 810 in the client field. b) contact the help desk for user ID and Password problems.

MULTIPLE SESSIONS •

6 open session max per logon

•

Each session is independent from the other

•

Any of the multiple sessions can be closed at any time without logging off your BUS application (unless it is the only session open)

Click the New Session button on the SAP tool bar.

OR: Click on System from the menu bar; then on ‘create’

OR: Right click on Sap… tab from your desktop tool bar; then ‘create’

There are different options for ending an open session(s) and logging off BUS. a)

Options: 1) click on System from the menu bar; choose ‘log off’ 2) click the Yellow icon on the tool bar; 3) click the X in the top right corner 4) right click Sap…tab from your desktop tool bar; choose ‘close’ 5) in the Bus application task box, type /nex a) <enter>

•

Choices 1 – 4 will prompt you with a “Logoff Box”

•

Choose the appropriate (yes or no) button.

Note • •

Choice 5 will close and log you off all sessions as soon as you <enter>. You are not prompted with the “Logoff Box” or message about unsaved data.
