Objectives: 1. Students will be able to construct sentences using active Present Simple Tense. 2. Students will be able to identify the similarities and differences between the active form and passive form of Present Simple Tense. 3. Students will be able to use the active and passive form of Present Simple Tense correctly. 4. Students will be able to change a sentence in active form into passive form, and vise versa, correctly. Brief Schedule Activity 1. Revision of previous lesson – Present Simple Tense 2. Introduction of Passive Voice of Present Simple Tense 3. Introduction of new vocabulary

Teacher Eliciting students on the pattern/model used to refer to Present Simple Tense. Introducing Passive Voice form of Present Simple Tense. Examples are provided. Introducing new words. Eliciting their meaning and getting students to construct new sentences using these words. Introducing how to change a sentence in active form into passive form, and vise versa. Providing examples. Discussing mistakes and errors in constructing sentences in passive form of Present Simple Tense.

Students Individually or as a chorus supply the answer and examples. Explanations for Abbreviations are needed. Point out the similarities and differences between the two models. Construct their own examples. Supply the definition of new words. Construct sentences using active form and passive form of Present Simple Tense. Practice changing sentences from active form into passive form and vise versa. Questions can be raised here. Raise questions, if they have any, about the lesson. Monitor and correct errors here.
