What is Computer:
Compute is an electronic device which accept data as input, process on it and give us information as output.
Computers can be generally classified by size and power as follows, though there is considerable overlap:

Personal computer : A small, single-user computer based on a microprocessor. In addition to the microprocessor, a personal computer has a keyboard for entering data, a monitor for displaying information, and a storage device for saving data.

Workstation : A powerful, single-user computer. A workstation is like a personal computer, but it has a more powerful microprocessor and a higher-quality monitor.

Minicomputer : A multi-user computer capable of supporting from 10 to hundreds of users simultaneously.
•
Mainframe : A powerful multi-user computer capable of supporting many hundreds or thousands of users simultaneously.
•
Super computer : An extremely fast computer that can perform hundreds of millions of instructions per second.

Creating A New Document 1. Click on File 2. Select New o To create a blank document, simply select Blank Document. To create a document based on one of the templates provided in Microsoft Word, select which one you would like to create and select OK

Click on File and then Save. Type in a file name and select a drive and maybe a folder. To save again under the same filename and path just click on the Diskette in the toolbar. To save this document with a different filename or path click on File and Save As. Enter your new filename or path.

Select the text. Click the Copy button. Click at the end of the document and then click the Paste button.

Click once at the beginning of a line. Press the Tab button on the keyboard. (Tabs are set every 1/2")

Click on the Spell Check Button. Change or Ignore Suggestions.

Click on Tools. Click on Thesaurus. Type a word in the Insert box Click on Look Up. Click on a new word and then on Replace.
