To demonstrate proper waste management through the various processes involved in the solid waste management facility To construct and operate a pilot-scale solid waste management facility using the Lagon Group n.v. technology To convert the segregated waste materials into useful products (methane gas and biofertilizer) using the ITDI-DOST technologies (Biogas Digester and Bioreactor) To determine the technical viability and performance efficiency of the facility through a pilot-scale set up

Heavy duty 5 hp mechanical shredder  Can shred organic materials (trunks, barks, agricultural wastes, plastics, etc.) 

Serves as bulk unsorted wastes feed tank with wide entry and tapered to provide a narrow bottom outlet for the wastes to freely flow at controlled rate and convey to the washing compartment.

Two belt conveyors with gear motors are used to transport the wastes and simultaneously sorting of wastes is performed.

1ST Conveyor

2nd Conveyor

Partly sorted wastes is introduced into the washing compartmen t for cleaning and disinfection

A

magnet will be Installed at the second conveyor belt for the removal of metal component in the wastes stream after washing.

 For

the storage of recyclable materials after sorting and segregation.

Serves as storage for biodegradable materials (kitchen wastes, animal manure, agricultural organic materials, etc.) for the production of methane gas and biofertilizer
