Mechanical Engineer

Sulimanya-Oil Refinery

This oil refinery works 24/7 hrs. Producing fuel for 3 cities; I worked in shift time table under pressure and during different times of day. From Aug.2006 to march.2007 I worked as a team leader. Operation: 

Operating the system.

 checking that equipment used was in working order, doing hourly checks and taking a log of each inspection. Monitoring the equipment on the computerised system to check for faults. If faults were found immediate action would be taken to fix them.  Daily report about the system. 

Maintenance:  Studied faults and maintained the equipments.  Designed new requirements (we used turner and cutter and wilding machine and ET.)  Copying the equipment we need in refinery (using casting in this).

Part time work May 2004-Aug. 2006 OMC Engineer It was Concurrent with job in oil refinery.

Asia-cell mobile telecommunication company in Iraq

 Operated and maintained the internal fault.  Monitored external faults and reported to their department and helping them from the central system. I have been trained by Asia-cell, Hwawi (chine’s company), and Talia (British company) during my work in Asia-cell. Quickly learnt new system and was able to be efficient.

July 1998 – October 1999 (gap year)

Warehouse Assistant/Driver Nokan Warehouse (Customs) Iraq/Turkey border

I did this job during my gap year in variety of different people and worked under pressure.

June 2007 – Des.2008: Shanashil Restaurant (Central London)

OTHER SKILLS Languages Spoken: fluently (Kurdish, Persian (Farsi) and Arabic), and I have qualification in (Russian and English) which allowed me to study in university. I have driving license since 1999, and I have the UK driving license since 2009. (References available on request)
