This is what happened in the TCS yesterday.. I got the security pass from the security and entered the building . Then There I was asked by the HR (Kailash) to fill up a form consisting the experience and education background and contact details .. Then I was the One and Only Candidate for the SAP BW interview.. I was guided to the 7th floor by another HR(Ramesh) then was introduced to the technical person called Karthick. Session with Karthick He was a nice chap dressed in casuals ( very nominal and cheap dress and floaters ) . He was talking nice without any attitude .. looking at him I gained more confidence and To an extent I was controlling the interview. He took me to his work station and pushed me the chair from his neibhour�s workstation and started with the following questions 1. Hello Roy, Can you talk something about your BW experience while I go through your profile (He was having my resume at hand) ? Ans: I was just struck there cos I dint expect that question ( I was expecting �tell me some thing about yourself?�) .. But still I tried to answer .. I started with my non-SAP ex and told him that I was working for Seal Infotech and studied BW through Self study. 2. Looking at my resume (I have attached the old one) and asked me that how confortable am I with ABAP and asked me to talk about that experience: Ans: I told him with confidance that I am not comfortable with ABAP and I have used ABAP 3 years ago and do not recollect any part of it . Reply : He said � if you are not confidence with ABAP then y do u have that in your resume ?� and if I get any situation of working with ABAP then what whould I do ? Ans: I said I am open to getback ABAP operations with very little preparation and can finish any task given and I strongly said that I am open . 3. Then he turned to Modelling . he asked me what is the differenc between Multiprovider and Infoset ? Ans: I answered straingt An infoset is a combination of ODS and Mastertable and a Mutiprovider is a combination of cubes, ods and infoobjects. Reply: hen he asked what is the connection difference between the Infoset and Multiprovider . Ans: I said � I think the joint used in Infoset is Temporal Joint and I am not sure about the Multicube � 4. He asked � have you done Extraction � I said Yes � Lo cockpit and Generic� What are the three types of Generic . ? I said � I am not sure which type of extraction I did but I created Datasources on the R/3 side and replicate the same in the Source system and then the usual procedure. 5. Ok can you explain the steps of LO Cockpit ? Ans: Maintain Extract structures, Delete setup tables, V3 update, replicate datasource . and usualprocedure 6. Can you give me the T codes for the LO? Ans: LBWE,LBWF,LBWG, OLI*BW 7. Then he asked about some very new topic which I never heard about . And I answeres I have never come across the situation .. I think I have covered 95% of what he asked .. at the end of it he said � You can go home and we will update on Monday� Then I asked � Am I thru this round ?� he said � that�s what, We would inform you on Monday� I thanked he and got out ..

That�s what I can remember in the interview .. it went very fine and I was 100% confident when I was talking and I dint show a single sign of low confidence .. I was very happy after the interview.. Venu can you please tell em what are the answeres I will call you at night anyway ..
