Instructions Let’s start The contents screen is very easy to use and navigate. All you have to do is simply use the stylus to press the button for the module you want to go to.
Press a button to go to the corresponding material.
Choose a lesson from the Student’s Book by pressing a lesson button. Choose a lesson from the Workbook by pressing the WB button.

e-Book When you have the pages of the book visible on the screen, you can select any activity by pressing on it.
Press the left and right arrows to quickly flip through the pages of the Student’s Book or the Workbook. You can move back and forth between the pages of the selected unit. You can choose another unit or module from the contents menu.

Extra Material
Clicking on the yellow boxes allows easy access to listening transcripts, speaking activities, games, as well as the relevant sections of the writing and grammar references.
You can easily navigate your way to the different components of each book by pressing the relevant buttons. Selecting the tabs on the lesson overview will direct you to the corresponding Student’s Book or Workbook.

At the bottom of the screen you can find all the buttons you need for navigation, as well as the main functions.

Instructions Tools
The Tools bar is movable to any place on the screen. You can grab it by its “TOOLS” title and drag it wherever it suits you. You can also rotate the bar by pressing the Rotate button.

Press the F1 button on the PC’s keyboard or the Close button on the Tools bar to hide the tools.

Text
Press on the pen tool to write or draw lines on the screen. You can write anywhere you want.
Press on the pen width tool to choose from three different sizes for the pen and the outlines of boxes and circles.

Press on the color tool to choose the color that you will use for the pen, the box or the circle. Choose between black, blue, red or yellow. Yellow also performs as a transparent marker.
Press the rectangle tool and choose between a transparent, opaque or selecting rectangle. Then press and drag to create the rectangle.
Press the circle tool and choose between a transparent, opaque or selecting circle. Then press and drag to create the circle.
Press on the text tool to open a small window for typing notes.

Press on the browser tool to navigate through the Internet. You can save, title and sort the links you visit on the “My links” screen.
Press the save button to save everything you have written or drawn on the screen.
Press the open button to view everything you have written or drawn on the screen.

Press on the eraser tool to choose between the eraser and the recycle bin. When you have the eraser you can press on anything that you created with the Tools bar on the screen and delete it. Choose the recycle bin to erase everything in just one stroke.
Press on the magnifier tool and click anywhere on the screen to magnify that area. Press again on the magnifier tool to return to normal view.
Press the screen tool to hide everything on the screen. You can press on this white screen and drag it left, right, up or down to reveal part of the whiteboard content.

Presentations
The presentations appear without text. Before reading, students have the opportunity to guess the context by looking at the pictures. In addition, they could be asked to guess and write what the characters may be thinking. Students can also develop their listening skills by listening to the recording.

Instructions Press the Show/Hide text button for the text to appear.
The text is highlighted while it is heard. When you are reading the text you have the option to click on a specific phrase and hear it individually.

Video
Press the Video button to watch the video/animation.
When you watch an animation or video clip, you can pause the action with the Pause button.

Instructions
You can press on the “duration” bar while playing the clip or in pause mode to move to any part of the animation or the video clip.
Click on the video button to view the World Watch videos.

Click on the worksheets button to view the video worksheets.

Subtitles
You can display the subtitles of the animation or video clip by pressing the button. Press the same button to hide them.

Vocabulary
To view the vocabulary for the lesson, press the Vocabulary button.
Click on the picture to access the flashcard in the Vocabulary List for practice. Click the Listen button to hear the correct pronunciation of each word. Click the Back button to return to the activity.

Click the Show/Hide Text button to reveal or conceal the words.

Flashcards
To access the full deck of flashcards, press the Vocabulary List button found on the main menu.
Click on individual words to open up the relevant flashcards.

Instructions There are two ways to access the vocabulary: alphabetically or per module.
Click in the button to switch between the two vocabulary lists.

Press the Play button to listen to the correct pronunciation of the word. Press the Show/Hide Text button to reveal the text and press the same button again to hide it. Here you can write your text. Click on the rubber on the right to erase.
Press the Audio button to listen to the example of the word.
Press the Ex button to see the example of the word.
When you have finished, you can press the Return button and go back to the vocabulary of the lesson to pick up another flashcard.
Press the Vocabulary List button to go back to the wordlist.

Activities All the activities include answers. To display the answers, click in the area where the answer should be. If you click on the answer again, it will hide itself. The answer could be a text, a shape (e.g. a circle), or a symbol.
Some (usually longer) answers may also be found in Key buttons.
For Match activities, click on the small circles to display the answers.
The pencil symbol found at the bottom of some exercises indicates personal response activities. Students can be guided through these activities by the teacher.

For longer audio sections, a bar is displayed over the navigation buttons. You can pause the sound or choose to listen to just a part of the phrase by pressing on the bar.

Justifications In some activities, you will see a button with a question mark. This is a Justification button. Pressing it opens a pop-up box which contains the extract from the text containing the justification for the answer (see highlighted position).
Click on this box and drag it wherever you want on the screen or just click anywhere outside the box to close it.

Press the Listen button/ buttons to listen to the highlighted part of the text, which contains the justification for the selected question.
