< IPPVR Installation > We recommend installing the latest software of IPPVR. Please contact your dealer for the latest version.
1. How to install IPPVR software in your PC a. Your computer should be connected to the local network LAN. b. Run ‘IPPVR.exe’. c.
If you see below message, click “Unblock” button.
c. After installation, program icon will appear in the task bar.
d. You can check your IP address as below
Warning! If your IP is “127.0.0.001”, it’s not actual IP address. Try to ask your network manger.
2. Setting up your Set-Top-Box 1. Be sure that your Set-Top-Box is connected to the local network LAN. 2. Power on Set-Top-Box. 3. Go to "MAIN MENU -> INTERNET -> Network Information” You should see the IP address assigned to the box. If there is no IP address assigned, switch to STATIC and back to DHCP. You should see values similar to the picture hereunder.

DHCP: If your LAN is using a DHCP server (mostly used in home networks), the IP address and subnet mask will be assigned automatically: •
DHCP / Static : DHCP ( Change “ DHCP -> Static -> DHCP ” to get actual IP address )

IP Address : it’ll be filled automatically
•
Subnet Mask: it’ll be filled automatically
•
Gateway : it’ll be filled automatically
•
PVR Server IP Address: input the IP address of your computer which is shown in IPPVR.exe software i.e. 192.168.011.126.
Attention : “PVR Server IP Address” and your computer IP address must be identical.
STATIC: If your local network LAN is using static IP addresses, as used in bigger networks, input the relevant IP addresses, subnet mask, gateway and the IP address of your computer. •
DHCP / Static : Static
•
IP Address : put your static IP address.
•
Subnet Mask: put your static IP address.
•
Gateway: put your static IP address.
•
PVR Server IP Address: kindly put IP address of your computer. Attention : “PVR Server IP Address” and your computer IP address must be identical.

It starts recording from your Set-Top-Box to your computer. “REC” Mark shows on the TV screen as below.
During recording, the IPPVR software shows “REC” mark as below.

4. Trouble shooting 1. IPSTB doesn't get IP address. a. Check your LAN cable is firmly connected to ethernet port and yellow blink and green light stay on. b. Turn Off and On again, Set-Top-Box is getting IP address from router only during boot up time. c.
Set-Top-Box is set to DHCP but your LAN is using static IP addresses. Change settings to STATIC and Input correct static IP, subnet mask and gateway addresses.
2. "Failed to connect xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" message on TV screen when Press REC button to start recording a. Make sure check IPSTB gets IP address from router. b. IPPVR software in your PC must be launched. c.
Check PVR Server IP Address and your PC IP address are same.
d. Allow your firewall the communication between PC and Set-Top-Box. e. IPSTB and your PC must be connected on same local network.
