Interface Of Syncswitch

1. Home : Home page of the SyncSwitch is a customizable page. You can put your useful information for your customer here. This page can be used as a web page to describe about your product and services as well as other information as you want to provide.

2. Origination : Origination is a group of link where you will find every operation related to your originators or customers. Originators are those who participate to originate a call. 2.1. Device User: Device users are originator who uses a device to originate a call Device users of SyncSwitch are traditional PIN for using in devices to originate a call. SyncSwitch device users can be created in two ways. • •

Manually one by one In batch for bulk account creation.

2.2. ANI User: ANI (Automatic Number Identification) is a system utilized by telephone companies to identify the DN (Directory Number) of a calling subscriber. ANI was originally developed for Telephone Company billing purposes. 2.3. Calling Card: SyncSwitch calling cards are account to use for various types of calling cards like DID Calling Card, NAS Calling Cards etc. Calling card accounts are more or less same as ANI accounts. 2.4. Reseller: Reseller is someone who will resell products supplied by the service provider. In SyncSwitch, reseller can have all the originating option, but he can’t create his own reseller and can’t have his own termination endpoints 2.5. Company: A company is second layer distributor of products offered by Service provider 2.6. Callshop: Call Shop is a special type of operation of VOIP calling business. SyncSwitch CallShop is a complete operating system of VoIP CallShop. It is featured with advanced facilities to monitor, Operate and control the CallShop in a single hand.

3. Termination: Termination contains all links related to terminating end of the Switch. Terminating end means devices where a call will be terminated. The termination of left navigation menu contains two different links3.1.1.

3.2. Gateways: Gateways are terminating end for the switch. It can be a direct endpoint, a gatekeeper or a soft switch where -

4. Rates: Rates are cost of the route for a specific destination.

5. Routing: Routing means mapping the path how traffic will come and how those will be terminated. In SyncSwitch, routing deals with all terminating intelligence and efficiencies. In the link Routing we have to two sub links: 5.1. Routing Group: you are allowed to create routing group / table as many as you need. 5.2. Dial Plan: Dial plan is the complete procedure how a call hit to the switch and how that will be processed. 6. CDR: Call Detail Record (CDR) is the log book of the switch. By browsing CDR of calls, you can have a clear idea about the performance of the switch as well as the condition of the business. 7. Billing: Billing link contains all the billing information as well as calculation for all connected calls. 8. Payments: Payment is the link from where you can get all the payment history of the switch. 9. Tools: Tools link contains following two sub links9.1. Currencies: Currencies are the media of exchange. This is what you will receive from your customer for using your service 9.2. NAS Source: NAS stands for “Network Attached Storage” which means a data source which is in a remote place and accessible from the network

Administration: Administration is the link from where you can administrate all users of the switch interface- who will get which facilities etc. Administration link have two sub links10.1.Service Providers: Service Providers are the root privilege holder of the Switch. They have all privileges of the switch to do or operate anything 10.2. Role Group: Role Groups are the access control list (ACL) from where you can restrict or give certain privileges to a certain user. You can control completely which page he can see and which one he can’t; which task he can perform and which he can’t etc.

11. Batches: Batches are to accomplish many tasks for number of pin/account/user at a time. 12. Monitor: Monitors are to monitor current status of the switch activity.
