1. Your
name
and
period
must
be
on
the
cover
(large
and
legible).
 2. The
first
4
pages
of
your
notebook
will
be
designated
for
the
table
of
 contents.

Your
table
of
contents
should
be
single‐spaced
and
up
to
 date.
 3. All
pages
must
be
numbered
in
the
upper
left
or
upper
right
corner.
 4. A
heading
and
date
must
be
present
on
all
pages.
 5. You
may
write
in
pen
or
pencil.

If
you
write
in
pencil,
it
must
be
dark
 enough
to
read.

If
you
write
in
pen
and
make
a
mistake,
put
one
line
 through
the
mstke
mistake
and
continue
writing.

Do
NOT
use
white
out.
 6. Use
both
sides
of
the
page
but
do
not
forget
to
number
properly.
 7. Each
section
of
your
notebook
should
be
clear
and
descriptive.

For
 example:

Procedure,
Materials,
Procedures,
etc.


 8. Appropriate
handouts
should
be
neatly
glued
(if
one‐sided)
or
stapled
 (if
two‐sided)
into
notebook.
 9. Use
color
and
effective
diagrams
when
appropriate.

Use
a
ruler
to
draw
 lines
or
create
charts.
 10. There
will
be
surprise
notebook
checks
or
quizzes.

Always
be
prepared!
 11. Your
lab

stay
with
you
and
you
should
have
it
with
you
 everyday.
 12. Failure
to
bring
your
notebook
to
class
will
result
in
an
unsatisfactory
 grade
in
work
