3.5.5.1 Data Migration Wizard This form is used for data migration. The user name is fixed for this form. After entering the password, user has to enter the path for control file. The path could be selected from Browse. Then after path of the data file is given. It is entered by clicking on the browse. After entering both paths click on the “start” for starting the data migration process.

3.6 WRS Installation 3.6.1 Dot Net Frame work Installation 1. 2. 3. 4.
Open the CD-Drive Go to CD-Drive through My Computer, which exists on the Desktop, or through Windows Explorer. Open folder Deployment Folder Copy “dotnetfx.exe” on system
As user click on the dotnetfsp1.exe icon following window will be appear. By clicking on “No” on this window user can cancel the installation.
for continue the installation user has to click on “yes”.
As user click on yes, following agreement will appear. For continue the installation click on agree option and for cancel the installation click on not agree option.

Select “I agree” and then click “Install”
After few minuets following window will appear that shows the installation progress.

Click “OK” to complete installation.
3.6.2 Web Reporting Solution Installation 1. 2. 3. 4.
Open the CD-Drive Go to CD-Drive through My Computer, which exists on the Desktop, or through Windows Explorer. Open folder Deployment Folder Double click on “MSEDCLBPOSITE.msi”

After clicking the icon you get the following screen

To continue the installation procedure, click the Next button. You may cancel installation procedure in this stage also.
This screen gives you the address where the software is to be installed. If you want to change the drive or folder then you can change the destination address by clicking the Browse button and select the path where you want to install the software. After setting the path click the Next button. If you want to change the previous settings then click the Back button. On clicking the Back button you move back to the previous screen. And if you want to cancel the installation procedure at this stage then click the Cancel button. Now this is the stage where installer is ready to install WRS on your computer. And you get the following screen. When you click the Next button you get the following screen

Which shows that installation has started and it also shows a progress bar indicated by blue boxes, that shows the progress of installation. When the installation is complete you get the following screen showing that the installation has been successfully completed.

3.6.3 DSN Settings For DSN settings go to “control Panel” “Administrative Tolls” “Database Sources (ODBC)”, and double click on Database sources (ODBC). Then following window will appear.
Click on add button of that window and the following window will appear. Page 8 of 11

At here select the “Microsoft ODBC for Oracle” from the list given. And click on “Finish”.as click on “finish” following screen will appear. In this window data source name, User Name and Server should be entered. Following are the values for this application. Data Source Name “msedclbpo” User Name “msedclpo” Server “msedclcc”.
After that click on “OK”. As click on “OK”, following list will appear. This list has our DSN name added with all other names. Again click on “OK” of this window.

4 Client Side Installation 1. Install JRE (please Refer Point No. 3.3 For JRE Installation) 2. Copy “CHM.exe” to system.
