From the above images I have seen the camera shot/angle change various times in the space of 8 seconds. Variety of shots and angles; close up long shot medium shot zooms in pans The shots change between 1-3 seconds so they are very quick, jump cuts to the next shot. The location is the same for all shots; a stage/studio. She is looking at the camera. We are considering using this style of shots for the beginning of our video.

I noticed that there was a bit of the song which included the artist by herself with a microphone singing towards the camera; a solo bit. This solo bit was quite plain and simple due to the plain background used. This allowed the audience to familiarise with the lead singer. During this bit, there were two camera shots used; close up and long shot. Shots alternated between 1-2 seconds.

Avril Lavigne- Camera Angle 



We liked the idea of a high angle shot with the artist looking into the camera and singing towards it. It’s a close up shot of the artist.
