Requesting Time Off via iConnect for all Glenbrook Employees All regular employees in Glenbrook have access to their personal information, Glenbrook Information and Announcements and Resources through iConnect. Access is available through the new website www.glenbrook225.org. Click on iConnect on the Homepage under For Staff. Or enter http://iconnect.glenbrook225.org. Access is available at home for our employees as well. 1.
Log in with your iConnect username and password. If you are logging in for the first time: a. Click Log on for the first time. Enter your last name, your employee ID number (the number following your name on your payroll deposit advice e-mail) and your Groupwise username. Then click Register Me. b. You will receive an e-mail in Groupwise with a temporary password in a matter of minutes. c. Return to the iConnect site and enter your username and the password provided to you in the e-mail. You can now change your password on the Welcome page by clicking Change my password.

Once you are logged in, click on the tab My Attendance. You will see a summary of your attendance plans and detail of time already used in the current year. Click on Request Time Offon the left menu. On this screen, click Request Time Off again. Click the button for the type of time off you are requesting – sick, personal, vacation, professional leave, jury duty, etc. Enter the dates yourrequesting. If it is only one day, enter the same date in Beginning and Ending Dates. Enterhow much time you are requesting. Remember, at Glenbrook, absences are tracked by days (not hours) and the minimal request is one-half day (0.5). Examples: If you are requesting one day off, enter the number, 1. If you are requesting two days off, enter the number, 2. If you are requesting 0.5 day tomorrow and the full day following, make two separate requests, marking tomorrow as 0.5 and the following day as 1. Select a reason from the drop down menu. Click Send my request at the bottom of the page.
Your request will now be routed to your supervisor for approval. If you return to Step 2 above, you now have a second choice showing you your requests in routing. Once your supervisor approves or denies your request, the new detail for this absence event will show up on your iConnect My Attendance screen and you will receive an e-mail.
