How to Access the Online Tutors at SMARTHINKING Fall 2008

SMARTHINKING, an online tutoring resource, allows students to interact with a live tutor and receive tutoring assistance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from any computer. To access the online tutors at SMARTHINKING, please follow the directions below: 1. Connect to the Internet 2. At the address bar type: http://vl.bryantstratton.edu 3. Click the SMARTHINKING picture

4. You will see a web page as below:

Username: [email protected] Password: last four digits of your student I.D number or your BID number 5. To enter an essay, Find submit your writing then select on select a subject. Scroll down and click on essay center.

6. To submit your writing fill out all the areas that are highlighted in red then select on submit essay. This is where you will attach your essay.

7. Smarthink will send a thank you. This informs you that they have received your essay.

8. Smarthink will send an email message back that they are done with your report.

9. Log back in to Smarthinking by following steps 1-4. 10. Then find your filing cabinet and then click on your in box.

Inbox will say 1. Click on it.

11. Find under Incoming items incoming essays.

12. Your e-stuctor’s repose will come up. Click here for your document.

13. Go ahead and down load the paper. (Recommended to save the paper)

14. An example of a paper that is marked.
