select my computer icon select c: drive then select file name : ADSbackup.bkf select save tab select next select finish it shows progress of backup then it will show after 4 mins backup is complete. select ok close all wizards on desktop then remove active directory services startmenu-run - dcpromo how do we restore active directory backup ?

1. boot your machine in directory services restore mode ( select F8 key during startup ) then select directory services restore mode 2.startmenu - run - ntbackup it shows the backup wizard where select next select restore files and settings select next select let me choose what is backup

select next next next finish after installing active directory components again run - adminpak.msi but this time u have to choose uninstall option select next next finish ..
