Midterm Logistics When: Tuesday Oct 26th from 11:00 am to 12:15 pm Where: Kresge Auditorium What can you bring: One single-sided sheet of paper 8½" x 11" with any notes you like, a calculator and an English/Foreign language dictionary. What you should do after the midterm: You will hand in class your answer sheet and pick up a photocopy of it from Yvonne Hankins on Terman 418 from 2:00 pm to 5:00p.m. If you have to pick it up after 5:00 p.m, you can pick it up from Room 406A from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. You must submit your answers on the web before 11:59 p.m. on Thursday October 28th. What will happen if you don’t follow the above instructions: • It is a violation of the Stanford Honor Code to fail to comply with university examination instructions. • If we find that what you enter on the web is different from what is on your answer sheet, we will impose a penalty. We will apply the scoring rule on the answers you provide on the answer sheet. In addition, we will deduct 5 points for each problem that you do not input consistent answers. • If you do not submit your answers on the web by the deadline, we will deduct 10 points. What if you are an SITN student: Local SITN students are encouraged to take the Midterm exam on campus. Those that cannot come should coordinate the time of the exam with their SITN and company coordinator. SITN students, like all other students, are also required to turn in their solutions on the web page following the exact answers they placed in the answer sheet while taking the exam.
