HISTORY OF THE UNIVERSE EXPANSION FROM VEDA AND VEDIC LITERATURES
The Vedas have guided ancient Civilization for thousands of years as the principles of modern science that is the Theory of relativity and theory of gravitation guiding the present civilization. When the question about origin and evolution of Universe rises, we can understand the fact that the scientific version of Vedas is different from that of the modern science. The Cosmology of Vedas is different from modern cosmologies. Cosmology is the branch of astronomy that deals with the structure and evolution of the universe.

Every culture in the world and most religions have their own description of the creation of the universe, from where we came, and what we should do. Unfortunately, these are often short and generalized versions that lack details. Thus, they are often given the same regard as myths. However, there are descriptions that give more elaborate explanations of how the cosmic creation fully manifested, which are found in the ancient Vedic and Vedic Literatures of India, some of the oldest spiritual writings on the planet. These descriptions provide details and answers that other versions leave out. Furthermore, these Vedic descriptions often agree, and sometimes disagree, with the modern scientific theories of creation, and offer some factors that science has yet to consider. The most fundamental aspect of the Vedic Literature, RK Veda, represents the eternal, self-referral dynamics of consciousness knowing itself. RK Veda is the oldest book of the human race. It might have been composed many thousand years ago. The very structure of the sounds of RK Veda (syllables, verses, chapters, and the gaps between each syllable, verse, etc.) is the embodiment of the eternal dynamism and silence at the basis of the infinite organizing power of Natural Law. When ancient Indian literature declares that this universe had come out from the first breath of God, it’s about the first vibration of that cosmic energy, the first explosion (MAHA VISPHOTAM) the modern Big Bang theory The vibrations of sound are eternal, so are the Vedas. These sound vibrations never vanish; they would remain latent in space. Suitable stimulations manifest sound energy. Ancient Indian seers through their efforts of penance produced the necessary vibrations. They virtually tapped these eternal sound energies after visualizing them. They systematized the knowledge and had bequeathed the same to posterity, as Veda mantras with each sukta (a group of mantras) revealing about each aspect of cosmic energy.
THE FOLLOWING IS A THEORY FROM RIG VEDA ABOUT THE UNIVERSE.
The rough translation for the above Vedic Passage concerning the universe as follows: “Then was not Non- existent nor existent: there was no realm of air, no sky beyond it". What covered in and where and what gave shelter? Was water there, unfathomed depth of water Death was not then, nor was there ought immortal: no sign was there, the day’s and night’s divider. That one thing breathless breathed by its own nature; apart from it was nothing whatsoever. Darkness was there; at first concealed in darkness this all was
indiscriminate chaos. All that existed then was void and formless; by the great power of warmth was born that unit”. RK VEDA MEANS VEDA OF "RK," KNOWLEDGE OF "RK"
The relationship between “Rrrrrr” and “K” displays the collapse of dynamism to a point. This collapse displays decreasing dynamism; that means increasing silence until dynamism reaches its minimum value at “K”, which displays maximum silence From the structure of “Rk” it is clear that maximum value of dynamism is displayed by “R”, and maximum value of silence is displayed by “K”. The structure of “Rk”, as displayed by its sound “Rk”, stands for collapse - collapse of dynamism from infinity to a point.

Modern Big bang theory postulates that 12 to 14 billion years ago, the portion of universe we can see today was only a few millimeters across. It has since expanded from this hot dense state into the vast and much cooler cosmos we currently inhabit. Big bang is exactly similar to sacred Vedic BINDU SPHOTA (MAHA VISPHOTAM).
UNIVERSE
To create anything we require knowledge of making it; to crate a pot, we should have the knowledge of making a pot; to cook food we require the knowledge of cooking; similarly to create this cosmos, the knowledge that the creator had applied is Veda Vedas are not any textbooks to teach knowledge. They are not even the ethics that are usually taught by any religious texts. Sound is given prime importance in Vedas. For this reason, Vedas are called Shrutis ((sound) that can only be heard or uttered). Today, modern science considers this universe to be a Big Pack of energy. Energy is identified or recognized by its vibrations. Every vibration is accompanied by sound. Conversely through sound, vibrations can be created. That sound repository is Veda. But Vedas are not the man made sounds. They exist in creation as cosmic vibrations. Vedas are called “APAURUSHEYAM” meaning that they are not created by man. They are hymns, which were perceived or seen by seers of yore. Hence Vedic seers were called as “MANTRA DARSHTAS” If sound waves are the vibrations, conversely vibrations should produce sound. It means that every vibration has sound associated with it. Albert Einstein and other modern scientists had described this universe as an embodiment of energy. We normally recognize energy through vibrations. It means energy is manifested through vibrations and vibrations in turn manifest sound. As explained earlier, Vedas are called Shrutis. Since Vedas are infinite sound vibrations, our seers have commanded us only to utter or hear Vedas and not to write them. Seers had given them to us for our wellbeing. Vedic hyms connect human soul with cosmic vibrations. It is for this reason; Indians had given great importance to sound. Indian seers had discovered the cosmic laws and secrets and have transmitted them to us through the Vedas. Infinite are Vedic vibes. The essence of Vedas in Pranava (Sound of creation), the OMKAR. Sri Krishna says in Geeta “PANAVAHA SARVA VEDESHU”.
Cosmos and sound originated together. The sound of the first cosmic explosion ((BIGBANG) MAHA VISPHOTAM) and the eternal sound of minutest vibration is “OMKAR”. It is called “NADA BRAHMA” (SOUND OF BRAHMA). Omkar is the key to unlock immense cosmic potential. OMKAR is the engine for every activity, whether cosmic or mundane. Omkar is the sound
(Oooommmm)
that exists in the
past, present and the future. Omkar is not just a letter or a symbol; it is the very essence of cosmic vibrations. It is the sound of sounds and the sound of silence.
O O O O m m m m
While the creation of the universe the expansion of the universe sound is OOOOMMM Primal Energy is also the Great OM, "The Word," or even God, if you will. Thus, when Hindus clasp their hands together and bow towards each Other, they are saying, in effect, "The God within me greets the God within you." “Where the sound of Om is experienced there is no ignorance.” “Omkar is One, the universal force” “In Om is the creation and the dissolution of Creation” “ Omkar is the atman, the eternal self in you. Om is indivisible.”

VEDIC SCIENCE THEORIES
ACCORDING TO VEDIC SCIENCE UNIVERSE CAN BE EXPLAINED BY THREE THEORIES Let us expansion of universe Bigbang (MAHA VISPHOTAM) theories we are able to explain creation of the universe in three theories these are:
Brahma (The creator Theory) THEORY X
Vishnu (The administrator Theory) THEORY Y
Shiva (The destroyer Theory) THEORY Z
The duration of the existence of the universe is countless but not unlimited. It goes on perpetually in a cyclic motion, like the creation state, and then no-creation state. In the no-creation state (called Maha Pralaya) the creative energies and the forces remain in an absolutely subtle and dormant state, and in the creation state they evolve in the form of the universe as we see it today. There was no beginning of this ‘cycle of creation and maha pralaya.’ It is eternal. Later the cosmos also sees one true divine principle self-projecting as the divine word, Vaak, 'birthing' the cosmos that we know, from the monistic Hiranyagarbha or Golden Womb. The Hiranyagarbha is alternatively viewed as Brahma, the creator who was in turn created by BRAHMA, or as Totality Creation Knowledge (Brahman) himself.
ATMA VA IDAMEKA EVAGRA ASIT NANYAT KINCANA MISAT SA IKSATA LOKAN NU SRIJA ITI (Aitareya Upanishad1.1.1) Before creation of the universe everything was situated within the Supreme Personality of Godhead (Brahman), everything was contained within Him, nothing was at that time separate. The jivas (individual souls, tatastha sakti) and even the external energy Maya was still within Him. So that Lord then willed to manifest all the worlds through me POWER IN THE CREATION: Brahman inspires the power maya (the cosmic power in its absolute subtle form) which evolves itself into the form of the universe and the souls begin to reside in the universe in living form. Thus there are three entities involved in the creation of the universe. They are: God (Gāyatrī ), all the souls BRAHMA, VISHNU and SHIVA, and the lifeless maya. God is almighty and absolute-life-knowledge-Bliss. He is omnipresent in His Divine personal form and has uncountable absolute virtues. Just like, He is all-Gracious, allbeautiful, all-loving, all-charming, all-knowing, all-kind and all-forgiving to whoever
takes refuge in Him. Maya (the cosmic power) is a lifeless miraculous energy or power. It has three characteristics or qualities called BRAHMA, VISHNU and SHIVA that appear in every part of its creation. Souls, in the universe, are unlimited and are infinitesimal.
Maya is lifeless, so it is also mindless.
Life
and
mind
complement each other. A living being cannot be without a mind and the mind aspect can never exist on its own. So both stay /
together, never alone or separately. Here ‘life’ means the living aspect of a being, like a toad has life not a pebble although they may look alike
According to Vedic cosmology 19.252 billions years ago All the three: souls along with their karmas, maya, and kal (time), stay in Brahman in an absolutely subtle form and in an absolutely dormant state during maha pralaya. They are activated by the will of God. After crtain subtle phases of evolution the first thing that comes into being is the endless empty space.

VEDIC EXPLANATIONS OF BRAHMAN CREATION In Rig Veda 10.121, the Hiranyagarbha-Sūkta.129 The hymn is phrased as a riddle, asking the question ka, or “who?” in the last foot of each line, “who is the god whom we should worship with the oblation?” (kasmai devāya havisā vidhema). The last line of the hymn answers the question, “O Prajāpati, lord of progeny, no one but you embraces all these creatures” (prajāpate na tvad etāny anyo viśvā jātāni pari tā babhūva). According to this hymn, the hiranyagarbha (usually translated “the Golden Embryo”) was born from the waters and contained everything (āpo he yad brhatīr viśvam āyan garbhan).30 This last word, garbha, is itself a rich word with a wide range of meanings: womb, interior, embryo, or child.31 The image of the golden embryo embodies both the male and female aspect of procreation:
The egg is both a female image (that which is fertilized by seed and which contains the embryo that is like the yolk) and a male image (the testicles containing seed). Thus the range of meanings may be seen as a continuum of androgynous birth images: seed (male egg), womb (female egg), embryo, child.
Three key factors lead to Prajāpati’s first creation: the mind (manah), desire (kāma), and heat (tapas), each of which is illustrated in RV 10.129.3d-4b: tapasas tan mahinājāyataikem kāmas tad agre sam avartatādhi manaso retah prathamam yad āsīt That one arose through the power of heat. Desire came upon that one in the beginning; that was the first seed of mind.
Cosmologists are agreed that the universe began with a big bang. Direct evidence comes from the fact that the universe is still expanding today, with clusters of galaxies flying apart from each other at immense speeds. In the 1960s, it was discovered that the entire universe is bathed in heat radiation, which is readily explained as the fading afterglow of the great initial explosion. The radiation has travelled through space almost undisturbed for billions of years, so it provides a snapshot of what the universe was like in its infancy. By scrutinising the cosmic heat radiation in detail using satellites, scientists have been able to pin down many of the universe's vital statistics to remarkable accuracy, for example its age, now put at 13.72bn years. Amazingly, it is possible to fleetingly re-create in the laboratory the physical conditions that prevailed in the early universe. This is done using giant accelerator machines, sometimes called atom smashers, to direct subatomic particles into head-on collisions at enormous energies. By studying the aftermath, physicists have built up an accurate picture of how matter would have behaved as early as a billionth of a second after the big bang. The word used for universe in Hindu Mythology is ‘Brahmanda’. This contains two words ‘Brahma’ and ‘Anda’. The root word for Brahma is ‘Brha’ means expanding. Anda means egg. Thus Brahmanda means expanding egg. This clearly tells that creation of the universe is by expansion.which is supported by the above story in Matsyapurana. The evolution of the Universe started with Tapah. In post - Vedic period ‘Tapah’ means performance of ‘Tapas’, in deep forests to gain immense power. The Vedic meaning of ‘Tapah’ is ‘to heat’. Because of the heat, expansion took place and evolution of Universe started with the creation of space, energy and matter. In this process of macronisation enormous quantity of heat is produced which is causing further expansion of the universe.
MODERN VIEW: Modern Science tells us that the universe started infinitely hot with a big bang. It cooled down rapidly with the expansion.
As the golden embryo is born, so too duality is created in the cosmos. Among the various actions attributed to Brahma, or Prajāpati, he is said to support the sky and measure out the middle space:
yena dyaur ugrā prthivī ca drlh ā yena svah stabhitam yena nākah yo antarikse rajaso vimānah
He by whom the awesome sky and earth were made firm, by whom the dome of the sky was propped up, and the sun, who measured out the middle realm of space (RV 10.121.5a-c).
It is this middle space (antari-ksa) that allows for structure in the cosmos: “The created world has for its sign the three: Heaven and Earth (dyāvā-prthivī) and the mid-space (antariksa) are the ternary by which the structure of the outer and inner world of man is ruled.” mid-space “establishes the middle between the contraries which makes possible the movement of thought and the seeing of images, both ascent and descent, between the two poles.” The absence of being and non-being mentioned in the beginning of RV 10.129 is not distinguishable. Once this separation is made, the “One” can now perceive duality, which is the first step in the creative process.
MODERN VIEW: The epoch before about a billionth of a second, however, remains murky territory, with plenty of scope for disagreement. A key cosmological observation that needs explaining is the extraordinary large-scale uniformity of the universe, as manifested in the even distribution of heat radiation across the sky. This suggests that the big bang erupted with
the same degree of vigour in all places and in all directions, quite unlike a conventional explosion. The favoured explanation is that the universe abruptly leapt in size by a huge factor during the first split second, thus smoothing everything out - a process dubbed "inflation". Following inflation, the expansion persisted, but at a diminishing rate, as the gravitational pull of all the cosmic material served as a brake. The inflationary theory makes definite predictions about the geometry and rate of expansion of the universe, predictions that seem to accord well with observations. The universe is not, however, completely smooth, or we would not be here to observe it. The cosmic heat radiation betrays tiny variations in temperature, reflecting slight irregularities in the density of the primordial gases. The over-dense regions eventually developed into the clusters of galaxies we see today. Nobody knows what caused these irregularities, but they could be due to the effects of quantum physics operating during the period of inflation. It is a remarkable thought that the structure of the universe on a scale of hundreds of millions of light years could well be a manifestation of minute quantum fluctuations, enormously distended and writ large in the sky. hiranyagarbhah || samavartatāgre bhūtasya jātah || patireka āsīt In the beginning the Golden Embryo arose. “In the midst of universe (BRAHMAANDA), the spherical earth stands firm in the space” Not only does Prajāpati (BRAHMAN) self-procreate in order to populate the cosmos, but his own body becomes part of the cosmic system through sacrifice. Other Vedic texts describe how the various body parts of the god compose the universe in the macrocosm, and the sacrificial altar in the microcosm.42 This is reminiscent of the Vedic Purus a, or the “Cosmic Man,” worshipped in Rig Veda 10.90, the Purusa-Sūkta. The opening of that hymn describes this primordial man: saharaśīrsa purusah sahasrāksah sahasrapāt sa būmim viśvato vrtvā aty atisthad daśāngulam
The Man has a thousand heads, a thousand eyes, a thousand feet. He pervaded the earth on all sides and extended beyond it as far as ten fingers (RV 10.90.1) Prajāpati is described in the same way in Rig Veda 10.121 as he “who has the quarters of the sky as his two arms.” (yastemāh pradiśo yasya bāhū). This line can be interpreted as being a direct reference to Purus a, and this is the understanding in the ŚatapathBrāhmana, in which the “vital airs” composed Purus a, who is said to become Prajāpati and also Agni. The dismemberment of the primordial god continues the process of disintegration that began with the birth of the Hiran yagarbha.
The most important position in the foot is the beginning, the second being the end: “The pāda [foot] beginning is the strongest position not only for rhythmic but also for phonetic hints at the name of the deity being praised. RV 10.121.Out of twenty-five feet, twenty begin with a reference to the god, two end with a reference, and there are eleven other references throughout. These include the one name, Prajāpati, two references to the embryo (garbhah), four references to “the One” (ekah) one personal pronoun (sah), twenty-one relative pronouns grouped by case (yah, yasya, yena, yam), eight interrogative pronouns (all in the repeated foot, kasmai devāya havisa vidhema, at the end of each verse), seven forms of the verb jan, and two forms of patih. It is obvious from examining the hymn that these thematic references also function as phonetic features. They create rhymes and repetitions in almost every line. For example, the first three feet of the second verse all have yasya in the same position, not only thematically, but also metrically and syntactically: ya ātmadā baladā yasya viśvā upāsate praśisam yasya devāh yasya chāyāmrtam yasya mrtyuh who gives life, who gives strength, whose command all the gods, his own, obey; his shadow is immortality—and death (RV 10.121.2a-c). Again, in the first three feet of verse four, yasya is at the beginning of each foot: yasyeme himavanto mahitvā yasya samudram rasayā sahāhuh yasyemāh pradiśo yasya bāhū He who through his power owns these snowy mountains, and the ocean together with the river Rasā, they say; In the second and third foot of verse nine, yah and jajāna frame the foot: yo vā divam satyadharmā jajāna yaś cāpaś candrā brhatīr jajāna
He who fathered the earth and created the sky, whose laws are true, who created the high, shining waters (RV 10.121.9b-c).

He created all the worlds - Ambahas (Tapah, Janah, Mahah and Svarga lokas - upper planets), Maricayah (the middle planets in the region of the sun, moon, stars which we in the middle earth planet can see. Mara refers to the earth, the planet where sh ort life spans are normal) and Apah (the seven lower planets - Atala, Vitala, Sutala, Talatala, Rasatala, Mahatala & Patala).
The most important concept of the Vedas is the triparticle division of the Universe into Prthivi (earth), Antariks’a (inter phase) and Dyau (heaven). Each of them is called a ‘Loka’. Thus the Universe is ‘Triloka’. Prthivi means broad and extended, Antariks’a means existing between, Dyau means bright. The S’atapatha Brahmana 7.1.2.23 says : ‘‘These lokas were together in the beginning, Earth and heaven then separated and the space between them becomes Antariks’a’’. Tittiriya upanisad. 1.3.1. says : ‘‘Antariks’a is the junction of Prthivi and Dyau ’’. The most sacred Gayatri mantra is Om Bhur Bhuvah Swah This clearly mentioned the three lokas. These lokas were formed not because the universe was divided into three, but because it was divided into two with an interphase. Scientists are divided on this. Gibbs considers the interphase as an imaginary plane dividing the two phases. Guggenheim considers the interphase to be a separate phase and assigns all the properties to an inter phase that a phase can have.

Brahma Create This Navagrahas by his TAPAS (Tapas), combined with belief in Universal Order (Rta), Pictures - Images of the Nine Planets. Nava Grahas are the nine planets which are having an influence in human beings. Navagrahas are Lord Surya, Chandra, Kuja (Mangal), Budha, Guru (Brihaspati), Sukhra, Sani, Rahu and Ketu.

Then gravity began to predominate and the basic structure of uncountable galaxies and their clusters (as scientists know) were gradually formed. The ‘already existing motion’ in the space now made it looks like the galaxies were moving away from each other. The speed of this motion of the space varied in different areas of this visible universe but with a perfectly controlled synchronization. The Lord deeply thought upon the form of Hiranyagarbha Purusha, as He thought in this way there burst forth from that golden egg a mouth. From that mouth came speech, from speech it's guardian deity, Agni, came. Then came two nostrils and with them came prana - breath and it's guardian Vayu. Two eyes next came with their guardians, the sun. Then two ears along with hearing, and it's subtle guardian of the ether. Next came skin, the hairs of that skin being herbs and trees. B-boom, b-boom came the pounding of the heart, from the heart came the mind, and the mind's guardian deity, the moon. The navel and the out-going breath next came with it's guardian deity - death. The generative organ appeared, and from this organ semen came forth along with it's guardian deity, the water based god, Prajapati. 1ST JEEVA ANIMAL BORN IN WATER ta eta devatah srista asmin mahatyarnave prapatamstama-sanaya pipasabhyam anvavarjjat ta enamabruvannayatanam nah prajanihi yasmin pratisthita annamadameti Aietharey Upanishad 1.2.1 Being created by the Lord, these guardian deities fell head first into the ocean of birth and death full of sufferings. he had then simply by touching food one would be satisfied. The being then tried to grasp the food with the min but was unable to do so. If he had of then just by thinking of food one would be satisfied. The being then tried to grasp the food with it's generative organ, prodding it, but could not grasp it. If this were possible then just by discharge or emission of food one would have been satisfied. 1.3.10 tadapanenajighrisat tadavayat saiso 'nnasya graho yadvayuannayurva esa yadvayuh Then the being sought to grasp the food by the apana - digestive breath. Taking the food through the mouth with the help of the digestive air, and taking the food down to the stomach, the food was consumed. Proving that it is the digestive air (apana) that consumes food; and so the apana is the principle cause in sustaining one's life by the intake of food.

The Lord then thought to Himself, "How can this being live without Me?" Again He thought, "Through what shall I enter into this gross body?" Again the Lord thought to Himself, "If speech talk, if nostrils breaths, if the eyes see, if the ears hear, if the skin feels, if the mind thinks, if the apana vayu digests, and if the generative organ emits, then what am I?"
1.3.12 sa etam eva simanam vidaryaitaya dvara prapadyata saisa vidritirnam dvastadetannandanam tasya traya avasathastrayah svapnah ayamavasatho 'yamavasatho 'yamavasatheti So then the Lord opened the Brahma Randhra in the skull and entered into that opening. This opening is known as vidriti; the place of bliss or delight (nandana). For the Lord there are three palces which are dwelling places within that of waking, dreaming, and deep sleep, deluded in all those three covered states.
1.3.13 sa jato bhutany abhivyai-ksat kimihanyam vavadisaditi, sa etam eva purusam brahma tatamamapasya-didamadarsam iti Thus having manifest Himself within the body of a being, the Lord then made the jiva soul active and naturally the body and senses became conscious of their respective objects. The tiny jiva soul (individual soul) in bondage being puffed up by false ego acted himself as the Lord of the body, the Lord in the form of Paramatma (supersoul or witness) who is actually Lord of the body, saw the tiny soul bewildered thinking himself as being independent from the Lord. There are however some aware souls who on realization of the Supersoul exclaim that there is another who is superior, all pervading, Brahman I see him now.

The individual soul left his previous situation with desires to fulfill in this world, and now through the semen of the male, is injected into a womb of a woman during her flowering period (ovulation). This is one's first birth.
2.1.2 tat striya atmabhuyam gacchati yatha svamangam tatha tasmadenam na hinasti sasyaitamatmanamatra gatam bhavayati The embryo grows in the womb of the woman and she looks after it just as she does one of her very own limbs. The wife, being the caretaker of her husband's embryo, is naturally nourished and cared for by the husband. The wife bears the child in her womb and the husband bestows cherishing care on the child in the womb and after birth. While the father nourishes the child from birth onwards, he also looks after his own well-being, for the continuaation of
the growing progeny. In this way progeny is continued on the earth. After some time the son gets his sacred thread. This is one's second birth.
2.1.4 so 'syayamatma punyebhyah karmabhyah pratidhiyate athasyayamitara atma krtakrtyah vayogatah praiti sa itah prayanneva punarjayate tadasya tritiyam janma Now the son, whose prototype is the father, is commissioned by the father to perform the samskara ceremonies and spiritual activities in the absence of the father. After this the worthy son (putra) has accomplished his father's rites, the father having attained old age, the father passes away and is born again. This is one's third birth.
2.1.5 taduktamrisninah-garbhe nu sannanvesa mavedamaham devanam janimani visva satam ma pura ayasiraraksannadhah syeno javasa niradiyamiti garbha eva etat-shayano vamadeva-evamvuvaca In regard to this, it is stated by a great seer: "While I was confined in my mother's womb I knew well all the many births I had taken. A hundred iron citadels confined me. But somehow by the causeless mercy of the Supreme Lord, I again came in contact with my spiritual master that I had previously had in another birth. And now with the swiftness of a hawk, I flew forth" - Thus Rsi Vamadeva declared even while lying in the womb of his mother.
2.1.6 sa evam vidvanasmah sarira-bhedadurdhvam utcramya-musmin svarge loke sarvan kamanaptva-amrtahsamabhavat samabhavat Realizing his predicament Rishi Vamadeva gave up all further materialistic desires, desiring only the lotus feet of the Lord. When finally his present body's dissolution came, he attained to the Vaikunthas, the abode of transcendental bliss, and resumed his normal eternal constitutional blissful body free from three fold sufferings of this world. 3.1.1 ko 'yamatmeti vayamupasmahe katarah satma yena va rupam pasyati yena ca sabdam srinoti yena va gandhanajighrati yena va vacam vyakaroti yena va svadu casvaduca vijanati Who is that Lord whom we worship? Out of the two souls residing in the body, who is that witness who is worshipped by us? The tiny jiva soul observes to see if he is the same as that Lord by seeing Whom one sees, by Whom one hears or by Whom one smells or talks about. Or by how one discriminates between the bitter and the sweet. Are we one?

Its cycle run from our ordinary day and night to day and night of the BRAHMA. 8.64 billio years long, longer than the age of the earth or the sun and about half the time since the “BIG BANG”
The age of the universe according to Vedic cosmology is 19.252 billion years. The present sub cycle started 3.893 millions years age a figure amazing close to the moderen estimating. Latest reserch claims the oldest meteorites to be about 4.56 billion years old. Vedic BRAHMA creation, cosmology claims that a Maha Yuga is 4.32 billions years . Brahma creates each world cycle is subdivided into four YUGAS or world ages, Krita, Treta, Dwapara and Kali.
1.SATYA YUGA: (Krita Yuga) : 1,728,000 Human years (ALREADY PAST) 2.TRETA YUGA: 1,296728,000 Human years. (ALREADY PAST) 3.DWAPA RA YUGA: 864,000 Human years. (ALREADY PAST) 4.KALI YUGA: 432,000 Human years. (5,111 Human Yers have passed 426,890 years remained ) KALI YUGA started in 3,102 B.C: current Year 2009 correspondings to Kaliyuga year 5,111 Brahma’s Life is divided by one thousend cycles (MAHA YUGA or the GREAT YEAR). Mahayuga, during which life including the human race appears and than disappears, has 71 divisions each made or 14 manvantara (1000 years). Each maha Yuga lasts for 4,320,000 years.
CYCLES OF TIME
The life span of Brahma is 120 divine years (MAHA KALPAMU). Everyday, Brahma creates 14 Manus one after the other, who in turn create and regulate the world. Thus, there are fourteen generations of Manu in one day (KALPAMU) of Brahma. Each manu’s life (Manuvantaramu) consists of 71 quartets of eras. Each quartet is composed of four eras: Krita, Trata, Dwapara and Kali. When Manu perishes at the end of his life, Brahma creates the next manu and the cycle continues until all fourteen manus and the universe perish by the end of the day of Brahman.

Introduction Kretha Yuga
Before the world, before the sky, before space, there was nothing but ocean: a flat, rolling lake that lapped the edges of emptiness and the void beyond. Floating on the water was a giant water-snake: Ananta, Serpent-King. In his coils, eyes closed, undisturbed, lay the Lord Vishnu. God, asleep. Water, snake, god: nothing moved. Stillness . . . perfection....
Then in the deepest recesses of the world, a sound began. A slow gathering, a humming, a throbbing. It grew and pulsed and filled the emptiness: a power, an urge, a throbbing itch of energy. It billowed and gathered into a single echoing syllable, folding in on itself endlessly, endlessly, like a beating heart: OM . . . OM ... OM ...
Lord Vishnu opened his eyes. It was time. The world was ready to be born. He looked out over the calm waters. In that moment, a lotus flower took shape before him. In it sat Brahma the Creator,
The Lord Vishnu's servant. He bowed his head, and waited to hear Lord Vishnu's will. 'It is time, Brahma. Time for the world. Time to begin your work. In that single lotus flower is all you need. Create a world that will live forever, till I declare the end of time itself. Begin.'
As he spoke, a huge wind gathered. The ocean cowered. The Serpent-King, and Lord Vishnu with him, disappeared from sight. Alone, Brahma's lotus-boat tossed in the churning sea.
Brahma raised his arms, and the wind died. The sea fell back and was calm again. He stood up, and with a sweep of his arms divided the lotus into three parts. The first part was heaven, the next earth and the next sky. In a single moment, the world had begun. Brahma clothed the new earth with plants: grass, trees, flowers, vegetables and fruit. To them he gave the sense of touch. Then he created animals and insects - large and small, in land, sea and air, some with fur, some with feathers, some with shells, some with scales; large and
small, fierce and timid, fast and slow. To them, as well as the sense of touch, he gave sight, smell, hearing - and above all, the power of movement.
At once the world filled with flurry and bustle. With crashing of branches, clatter of hooves, swishing and swooping, flailing and flapping, the new creatures set off to find homes. Trumpeting, braying, whistling, chattering, squealing, they ran and wriggled and hopped and flew into every corner of creation. The Rigveda says: Vishnu can travel in three strides. The first stride is the Earth. The second stride is the visible sky. The third stride cannot be seen by men and is the heaven where the gods and the righteous dead live. (This feature of three strides also appears in the story of his avatar Vamana called Trivikrama.) The Sanskrit for "to stride" is the root kram; its reduplicated perfect tense is chakram (guņa grade) or chakra (zero-grade), and in the Rigveda he is called by epithets such as vi-chakra-māņas = "he who has made 3 strides". The Sanskrit word chakra also means "wheel". That may have suggested the idea of Vishnu carrying a chakra According to S'atapatha Brahmana, The Supreme Soul, The self-existent Lord Created the waters and deposited in them a seed, which became golden egg in which He himself was born as Brahma, the progenitor of all the worlds. He was called ‘Narayana’ as ‘Nara’ (water) was the place of his movement. Afterwards it became the name of Visnu. Thus in the Vedas the active creator ‘Hiranya Garbha’ became a golden egg in Brahmanas. The second theme of creation in Hindu Mythology is that the Universe is described as an egg, the source of which is obviously Rgveda. According to this long ago when all things animate and inanimate were lost in one dreadful ocean there appeared an egg, the source of the seed of all creatures. Lying in this egg was Brahma. He is mentioned as ‘Svayambhu Vis’vakarma’ in ‘‘Moola Stambha’’. In Bhagavata he is ‘Visnu’. In ‘‘S’vetas’vataropanishad’’ he is ‘S'iva’.
S’ATAPATHA BRAHMANA 11.1.6.1 ‘‘Apah were indeed Salila earlier. Desire arose in it. They labored. From that heat arose. From heat golden egg was born. Golden egg was swimming in that for a year’’. The production of enormous quantity of heat during macronisation was described by Vyasa Maharshi as ‘Virat Rupa’ Surrounded by innumerable flames.
BIG BANG: The basic principle for Big-Bang Model is the law of conservation of energy that is energy can neither be created nor destroyed. This principle demands that before the moment of creation all the mass-energy of the universe should be concentrated in a point. This point is called singularity because its density becomes infinity. Modern Science tells us that the universe started infinitely hot with a big bang. It cooled down rapidly with the expansion
Lord Visnu was shown as holding chakra in the hand. Chakra is a wheel. As Lord Visnu was identified with the Universe. We can easily understand that cakra represents rotation of the Universe.
EXPERIMENTAL EVIDENCE: Borga Nodland and John P. Ralston found that polarized light from galaxies shows evidence of rotation. They published their results in Scientific American, July 1997. Some scientists do not accept this analysis yet Nodland and Ralston maintained the position that their analysis is correct. This is a clear evidence that the Universe is rotating like a wheel.
MODERN VIEW: Modern scientists considered the universe to resemble the surface of the sphere because the universe is of uniform density, isotropic and closed. According to Big Bang model, there should be same amount of matter and antimatter in the universe. But so far scientists found no evidence of antimatter dominated regions in the universe. Also why is that in a proposed uniform universe distribution of matter and antimatter is asymmetric? Vishnu's consort is Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth. Maya is the samvit (the primary intelligence) of Vishnu, while the other five attributes emerge from this samvit and hence Maya is his ahamata, activity, or Vishnu's Power. This power of god, Maya, is personified and is called Maya, Vishnumaya, or Mahamaya, and She is said to manifest Herself in, 1) kriyāshakti, (Creative Activity) and 2) bhütishakti (Creation) of Universe. Hence this world cannot part with his creativity i.e., ahamta, which is a feminine form and is called Maya. Vishnu is also associated with Bhudevi or Prithvi, the earth goddess; Tulsi; Ganga, goddess of river Ganges and also Saraswati, goddess of learning. In the Brahma Vaivarta Purana, verses 2.6.13-95 it is described that Vishnu has three wives, who constantly quarrel with each other, so that eventually, he keeps only Lakshmi, giving Ganga to Shiva and Saraswati to Brahma. Vishnu is always to be depicted holding the four attributes associated with him, being: 1. A conch shell or Shankha, named "Panchajanya", held by the upper left hand, which represents Vishnu's power to create and maintain the universe. The Panchajanya represents the five elements or Panchabhoota - water, fire, air, earth and sky or space. It also represents the five airs or Pranas that are within the body and mind. The conch symbolizes that Vishnu is the primeval Divine sound of creation and universal maintenance. it also represented as Om. In the Bhagavad Gita, Krishna avatara states that of sound vibrations, 'He is Om'.
2. The chakra, a sharp-spinning discus-like weapon, named "Sudarshana", held by the upper right hand, which symbolizes the purified spiritualized mind. The name Sudarshana is derived from two words - Su, which means good, superior, and Darshan, which means vision or Sight; together, it is "Superior Vision". The chakra represents destruction of one's ego in the awakening and realization of the souls original nature and god, burning away of spiritual ignorance and illusion, and developing the higher spiritual vision and insight to realize god.
3. A mace or Gada, named "Kaumodaki", held by the lower left hand, symbolizes Vishnu's divine power is the source all spiritual, mental and physical strength. It also signifies Vishnu's power to destroy materialistic or demoniac tendencies called anarthas; within the person's consciousness that hinders them from reaching god. Vishnu's mace is the power of the Divine within us to spiritually purify and uplift us from our materialistic bonds.
4. A lotus flower or Padma, held by the lower right hand, represents spiritual liberation, Divine perfection, purity and the unfolding of Spiritual consciousness within the individual. The lotus opening its petals in the light of the Sun is indicative of the expansion and awakening of our long dormant, original spiritual consciousness in the light of god. The lotus in Vishnu's hand symbolizes that god is the power and source from which the universe and the individual soul emerges. It represents Divine Truth or Satya, the originator of the rules of conduct or Dharma, and Divine Vedic knowledge or jnana. The lotus also symbolizes that Vishnu is the embodiment of spiritual perfection and purity. Also that He is the wellspring of these qualities and that the individual soul must seek to awaken these intrinsic Divine qualities from Vishnu by surrendering to and linking with Him.
Whenever evil and oppression in the religion rises, Vishnu himself becomes incarnate in Universe to protect it. "yada Yada hi dharmasya glanirbhabati bharat Abhyuthanam adharmasya tadatmanam srijamyaham paritranaya sadhunam vinashaya cha dushkritam dharam sansthapanarthaya sambhabami yuge yuge" BAGAVAD GITHA (When ever universe is filled with scum and malpractice rises, I am created to redeem the good and destroy the evil-doers, to re-establish true universe in all ages)
Ten Avataras of Vishnu to Maintain This Universe and Protect The Universe From Scum And Malpractice
The Puranas also describe each of the Dasavatara of Vishnu. Among these ten principal avatars described, nine of them have occurred in the past and one will take place in the future, at the end of Kali Yuga. In the commentary of creator Brahma in Vishnu Sahasranamam, he refers to Vishnu as "Sahasrakoti Yuga Dharine", which means that these incarnations take place in all Yugas in cosmic scales. The Bhagavad Gita mentions their purpose as being to rejuvenate Dharma and vanquish negative forces as also to display His divine pastimes in front of the conditioned/fallen souls. In almost all Hindu denominations, Vishnu is either worshiped directly or in the form of his ten avatars, such as Rama and Krishna. There are ten avatars of Vishnu (dashavatara) commonly considered as the most prominent: 1. Matsya, the fish. 2. Kurma, the turtle. 3. Varaha, the boar. 4. Narasimha, the Man-Lion (Nara = man, simha = lion). 5. Vamana, the Dwarf Brahmin (priest). 6. Parashurama, Rama with the axe, who appeared in the Treta Yuga. 7. Rama, Sri Ramachandra, the prince and king of Ayodhya. 8. Krishna (meaning 'dark coloured' or 'all attractive' or the Existence of Bliss,), appeared in the Dwapara Yuga along with his brother Balarama. Balarama is included as the eighth Dasavatara which list Krishna as the source of all avatars, svayam bhagavan (this viewpoint is specific to Bhagavata, Gaudiya, Vallabhacarya and Nimbarka sampradayas). 9. Buddha, the thinker. (See Gautama Buddha in Hinduism) 10. Kalki ("Eternity", or "time", or "The Destroyer of foulness"), who is expected to appear at the end of Kali Yuga, the time period in which we currently exist.
Typhoon "NABI" (meaning "Navel" in Sanskrit... galactic center is called the Visnu Nabi in the Vedas)

UNIVERSE IN A STRING: In Vedas in SATA PATA BRAHMANA (8.7.3.10) it is said that sun and the entire universe are connected in a string.
BAGAVAD GITA 7.7
BG 7.7: O conqueror of wealth, there is no truth superior to Me. Everything rests upon Me, as pearls are strung on a thread. As revealed by Lord Krishna, the whole cosmos from the gigantic star to the minutest particle, everything is stringed. (Together). Today our modern scientists call its as super string. The influence of stars on the minutest particles or on an event on the earth had been studied by Indian Jyohish Sastra (The Indian science of light, popularly called as Astrology) Ancient Indian knowledge recognized everything in the universe as one consciousness and cultured our minds in that direction. There is huge literature to support this fact. Modern science is also reaching the same conclusions.
.
The significance of the Nataraja (Nataraj) sculpture is said to be that Shiva is shown as the source of all movement within the cosmos, represented by the arch of flames. The purpose of the dance is to release men from illusion of the idea of the "self" and of the physical world. The cosmic dance was performed in Chidambaram in South India, called the center of the universe by some Hindus. The gestures of the dance represent Shiva's five activities, creation (symbolized by the drum), protection (by the "fear not" hand gesture), destruction (by the fire), embodiment (by the foot planted on the ground), and release (by the foot held aloft). As Nataraja (Sanskrit: Lord of Dance) Shiva represents apocalypse and creation as he dances away the illusory world of Maya transforming it into power and enlightenment.
SHIVA AS NATARAJA - THE LORD OF DANCE "Because You love the Burning -ground, I have made a Burning-ground of my heart - That You, Dark One, hunter of the Burning-ground, May dance Your eternal dance." ~ Bengali Hymn~
The symbolism of Siva Nataraja is religion, art and science merged as one. In God's endless dance of creation, preservation, destruction and paired graces is hidden a deep understanding of our universe. Aum Namah Sivaya. Bhashya Nataraja, the King of Dance, has four arms. The upper right hand holds the drum from which creation issues forth. The lower right hand is raised in blessing, betokening preservation. The upper left hand holds a flame, which is destruction, the dissolution of form.
The right leg, representing obscuring grace, stands upon
Apasmarapurusha, a soul temporarily earth-bound by its own sloth, confusion and forgetfulness. The uplifted left leg is revealing grace, which releases the mature soul from bondage. The lower left hand gestures toward that holy foot in assurance that Siva's grace is the refuge for everyone, the way to liberation. The circle of fire represents the cosmos and especially consciousness. The all-devouring form looming above is Mahakala, "Great Time." The cobra around Nataraja's waist is kundalini shakti, the soul-impelling cosmic power resident within all. Nataraja's dance is not just a symbol. It is taking place within each of us, at the atomic level, this very moment. The Agamas proclaim, "The birth of the world, its maintenance, its destruction, the soul's obscuration and liberation are the five acts of His dance." Aum Namah Sivaya. "O my Lord, Thy hand holding the sacred drum has made and ordered the heavens and earth and other worlds and innumerable souls. Thy lifted hand protects both the conscious and unconscious order of thy creation. All these worlds are transformed by Thy hand bearing fire. Thy sacred foot, planted on the ground, gives an abode to the tired soul struggling in the toils of causality. It is Thy lifted foot that grants eternal bliss to those that approach Thee. These Five-Actions are indeed Thy Handiwork.." ~ Chidambara Mummani Kovai~
The Nataraja dances within the universe of illusion. The locks of his hair stand out in many strands as he whirls around in his dancing frenzy. His locks are decked with a crescent moon, a skull, and are interspersed with the sacred river Ganges.
Shiva's unkempt hair, a symbol of a rejection of society, shows him to be an ascetic. This contrasts with his role as a grhastha, or householder, with his wife and family.
The

The goddess of the Ganges is here shown nesting in Shiva's dreadlocks. The river Ganges that flows in Nataraja's hair originally flowed in heaven. When the heavenly Ganges was needed on earth, she was unwilling to fall to earth because she realized that her fall from heaven would be too much for the earth to withstand. Shiva as Nataraja agreed to break the violent power of the sacred Ganga's fall by catching her in his tangled hair, breaking the fall with his hair on its way to the Himalayas and Northern India.
The crescent moon in his matted hair keeps Kama, the god of nightly love, alive. Through the waxing and the waning of the moon Shiva creates different seasons and rejuvenates life
Nataraja wears a snake coiled around his upper arms and neck symbolizing the power he has over the most deadly of creatures. Snakes are also used to symbolize the Hindu dogma of reincarnation. Their natural process of molting or shedding their skin is symbolic of the human souls transmigration of bodies from one life to another.
In the back right hand Shiva often holds an hour glass shaped drum or damaru. The drum represents the rhythmic sound to which Nataraja dances and ceaselessly recreates the universe. The front right hand is in the abhaya-mudra (the "fear not" gesture, made by holding the palm outward with fingers pointing up).
The back left hand carries agni (fire) in a vessel or in his hand. The flames represent the destructive energy with which Nataraja dances at the end of each cosmic age, cleansing sins and removing illusion.
The front left hand is across the chest in the gahahasta (elephant trunk) pose, with the wrist limp and the fingers pointed downward toward the uplifted foot.
His uplifted left foot, grants eternal bliss to those who approach him. The other foot treads firmly upon the dwarf of ignorance, allowing the birth of knowledge.
Nataraja dances above the body of the demon, Apasmara, whom he has killed; in this role he is called Natesa.
Apasmara, the dwarf demon,
represents the ignorance of teaching that all opposites (for example good and evil) are false.
PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES A. Ganga : Just as the sun is the focal point of the solar system and the soul that of the body, the focal point of divine consciousness (chaitanya) in every object and pure particles (pavitrakas) is ga-aum. The flow from which ga-aum originates is gan gaha = Ganga. Ga-aum flows from Shiva's head. This is called the descent of the Ganga from Shiva's head. Since the river Ganga has a fraction of the principle of the spiritual Ganga, no matter how polluted it becomes, its purity is perpetually retained. Hence, when compared to any other water in the world, the water from the Ganga is the purest. This is realised not only by those who can perceive the subtle dimension but also by scientific researchers. B. Moon : Shiva adorns the chandra (moon) on His forehead. The point where the three frequencies affection (mamata), mercifulness (kshamashilata) and motherly love (vatsalya) originate is referred to as the chandra (moon). Thus, one can conclude that chandrama (the moon principle) is the state in which the three attributes of affection, mercifulness and motherly love are present. C. Third eye : Shankar is three-eyed, i.e. He can perceive events of the past, present and future.According to the science of Yoga the third eye means the Sushumna nadi (channel). D. Serpent : One of the Names of Lord Shankar is Bhujanga-patihari. Bhujang means a serpent or pure particles (pavitrakas), pati means the nurturer and hari means one with a garland around His neck. Bhujangapatihari thus means the One who nurtures pure particles and wears them like a garland. Various serpents represent groups of pure particles. Though externally they appear like serpents, internally they are a kind of ladder. To make spiritual progress one has to climb up holding onto the tail of the serpent. Lord Shankar adorns serpents at nine points on His body - one on the head, one around the neck, one on each arm, one on each wrist, one around the waist and one on each thigh. This implies that His body is comprised of pure particles or that serpent of pure particles play all over the body of Lord Shankar who has the universe as His form. Shiva is depicted as having three eyes. The two eyes on the right and left indicate His activity in the physical world. The third eye in the centre of the forehead symbolizes knowledge (Gnana), and is thus called the eye of wisdom or knowledge. The powerful gaze of Lord Shiva’s third eye annihilates evil, and is the reason that evil-doers fear His is third eye.
MODERN SCIENCE PROVED SEPTEMBER 10, 2008, HT The symbolism is strong. As scientists at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) near Geneva smash subatomic particles in the world’s largest experiment, Shiva, the destroyer, will be in close proximity. On Wednesday, a powerful particle accelerator will use massive energy surges to simulate the universe’s creation with the Big Bang. And it would not have been possible without India, says Dr Amit Roy, director, Nuclear Science Centre, Delhi. “We’ve made precision-made jacks on which the 27-km machine is resting.” Over 100 Indian scientists from institutes like the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research and the Bhabha Atomic Energy Centre are involved in the Large Hardron Collider (LHC) project. The Department of Atomic Energy gifted a two-metre bronze statue of the Nataraja to CERN on June 18, 2004 to celebrate the centre’s India connection. {The statue of Nataraja, the Cosmic Dancer, Dr. Aymar, DG of CERN, Dr. Anil Kakodkar, Chairman of the Indian Atomic Energy Commission and Secretary to the Government of India.} Indian Atomic Energy Commission boss Anil Kakodkar had then said: “The Indian scientific community is part of the quest for
understanding
the
universe.”
{Related News: -} Author Fritjof Capra first drew a parallel between Shiva’s dance of creation and destruction and the dance of subatomic particles in The Tao of Physics. A plaque next to the statue quotes Capra: “Modern physics has shown that the rhythm of creation and destruction is not only manifesting in the turn of the seasons and in the birth and death of living creatures, but is also the very essence of inorganic matter. For modern physicists... Shiva’s dance is the dance of subatomic matter.”
NATARAJU IS SCIENTIFIC TO UNIVERSE Author Fritjof Capra first drew a parallel between Shiva’s dance of creation and destruction and the dance of subatomic particles in The Tao of Physics. A plaque next to the statue quotes Capra: “Modern physics has shown that the rhythm of creation and destruction is not only manifest in the turn of the seasons and in the birth and death of living creatures, but is also the very essence of inorganic matter. For modern physicists... Shiva’s dance is the dance of subatomic matter.” shiva’s dance represents the dynamic flow and ‘dance’ of the universe. The dancing universe is a ceseless flow of energy going through an infinite variety of patterns, which merge into one another in a dynamic universal interplay. His dance symbolizes the daily rhythm of birth and death, and the cosmic cycles of creation and destruction. Shiva is a reminder that the many forms in the world are maya (not constant, but ever-changing), while He is eternally Real as He continually keeps creating and dissolving the forms in the external flow of His dance. The Eastern mystics have a dynamic view of the universe similar to that of modern physics. The parallels of Eastern mysticism and modern physics become particularly striking when sound is considered as a wave with a certain frequency, which changes with the sound. Particles are also waves with frequencies proportional to their energies. According to modern physics, each particle perpetually sings its song, and produces a rhythmic ‘dance of energy in dense and subtle forms.’ Modern physicists use phrases like the ‘dance of creation and destruction’ and ‘energy dance.’ The conception of rhythm and dance emerge naturally when one tries to imagine the discharge of energies going through the patterns that make up the particle world. Modern Physics and eastern Mysticism, therefore, demonstrate that rhythm and motion are essential aspects of the phenomenal universe. Another parallel is the understanding that all matter, whether here on Earth or in outer space, is participating in a continual cosmic dance (Capra: 1975, 256259). Moreover, both of them agree on the idea of the emergent and convergent universe. According to Eastern Mysticism, the world of maya (illusion) changes perpetually, since the cosmic dance of Shiva is a rhythmic, dynamic dance. In the active principle of the cosmic dance, the entire universe is in action, manifest and emerging,
while in its non-active principle the entire universe has converged into an unmanifest essence. Similarly, modern physics has discovered the expanding universe as supported by the kinetic of the Big Bang theory. And, presently the universe has been shown as expanding, but at a slower rate than previously due to the changes in the gravitational force. Moreover, the reverse phenomenon of the collapsing universe will take place at some time in the future, when the gravitational pull will be greater than the receding force, and then the universe will converge
Behind this dancing pose of Siva, there seems to be a hidden cosmic secret. These words are not said by an ordinary person, but by a world renowned professor of nuclear physics, FRITJ OF CAPRA
The Trimurti (English: ‘three forms’; Sanskrit: trimūrti) is a concept in Hinduism "in which the cosmic functions of creation, maintenance, and destruction are personified by the forms of Brahma the creator, Vishnu the maintainer or preserver, and Shiva the destroyer or transformer." These three deities have been called "the Hindu triad" or the "Great Trinity". Of the three members of the Trimūrti,
MODERN STRING THEORY: Modern science is yet to conclude that sub atomic particles like quark particles and lepton particles are basic building block of the universe. Reason for this is that scientists could unite three of the four fundamental forces of interaction among subatomic particulars, they are: 1. Electro – magnetic forces 2. Strong nuclear force 3. Weak nuclear force

By uniting the three forces, scientists could study the behavior and properties of quark and lepton particles. Yet they could not unite the fourth fundamental force i.e. Gravitational force with the other three forces in studying the behavior pattern of subatomic particles. During last year of the 20th century, scientists have proposed a new theory called string theory. According to that, quarks and leptons are not particles. They are the subtle vibrating string with closed and open loops. The gigantic star and minutest quark string are connected thorough a superstring. Hence the whole universe is being considered as one unit by the most modern concepts of science. This theory facilitates the study of all the four fundamental forces of interactions.

MODERN SCIENCE Quantum theory deals with the small scale world of atoms and particles. The theory of relativity covers the large-scale structure of the universe. Scientists are searching for a complete and consistent theory that unifies quantum and relativity theories. In 1900, Max Planck published his theory explaining the emission spectrum of black bodies (Quantum theory)."quanta", comes from the Latin "quantus", for "how much". In physics, quantum refers to an indivisible, and elementary entity. The Planck length is 10-36 meters. (That is one meter divided by one followed by 36 zeros!) The Planck time is 10-43 seconds. (That is one second divided by one followed by 43 zeros!)
NEED FOR A COSMIC FACTOR: Albert Einstein, after his theory of special relativity (1905) and theory of general relativity (1915), intuitively felt the need for cosmic factor and incorporated it in his theory as cosmological constant. Later, he abandoned it due to its incompatibility with physics. “Results found in 2000, however, revealed that Einstein was probably right after all: the cosmological constant not only exists, but dark energy probably makes up the largest source of matter/ energy in the entire universe.”
BEFORE THE BIG BANG Singularity: A point at which the space-time curvature becomes infinite. According to most scientists, the point of singularity was the reality before the Big Bang. This picture shows evolution of the universe from the point of singularity.

TIME Dictionary definition of time: "A non-spatial linear continuum wherein events occur in an apparently irreversible order”. Time is currently defined via measurement. In 1967, the unit of time, the second, was defined in terms of atomic time rather than the motion of the earth. Specifically, a second was defined as the duration of 9,192,631,770 cycles of microwave light absorbed or emitted by the cesium-133 atoms.
SPACE-TIME Einstein linked space and time into space-time or space-time continuum. In this picture, earth is depicted in two spatial dimensions X and Y (the plane of the earth orbit) and a time dimension. It may be noted that the orbit of the Earth is (almost) a circle in space, but its worldline is a helix in spacetime.
GRAVITY Newton discovered gravity and his law of universal gravitation states that every object in the Universe attracts every other object with a force directed along the line of centers of mass for the two objects.
GRAVITY AND THE SOLAR SYSTEM The following table compares gravity on earth (=1) and other bodies in the solar system: Sun = 27.9 Mercury = 0.37 Venus = 0.88 Earth = 1.00 Moon = 0.16 Mars = 0.38 Jupiter = 2.64 Saturn = 1.15 Uranus = 0.93 Neptune = 1.22 Pluto = 0.06
THREE NUCLEAR FORCES Strong nuclear force tightly holds the protons together in the nucleus of an atom.
Weak nuclear force is responsible for the decay of some sub-atomic particles or radioactivity.
Electromagnetism is the force that acts between electrically charged particles.

ENTROPY AND STATES OF GROSS MATTER (WATER) According to the Laws of Thermodynamics, entropy, the measure of the disorder in a closed system, and its direction -- toward increasing disorder -cannot be reversed. Entropy is not purely a physics term. It can also be applied to everything from gardens to societies. Here are pictures of water in three forms. •

Most liquids contract (get smaller) when they get colder. Water is different. Water contracts until it reaches 40 C then it expands until it is solid. This property is important for preservation of life under very low temperatures.

VEDIC SCIENCE The Sri Chakra or Shri Yantra is a yantra formed by nine interlocking triangles that surround and radiate out from the bindu point, the junction point between the physical universe and its unmanifest source. It represents Sri GAYATRI , the goddess of abundance on all levels, in abstract geometric form. It also represents Tripura Sundari, "the beauty of the three worlds." Four of the triangles points upwards, representing Shiva or the Masculine. Five of these triangles point downwards, representing Shakti or the Feminine. Thus the Sri Yantra also represents the union of Masculine and Feminine Divine. Because it is composed of nine triangles, it is known as the Navayoni Chakra. Together the nine triangles are interlaced in such a way as to form 43 smaller triangles in a web symbolic of the entire cosmos or a womb symbolic of creation. Together they express Advaita or non-duality. This is surrounded by a lotus of eight petals, a lotus of sixteen petals, and an earth square resembling a temple with four doors. The Shri Chakra is also known as the nava chakra because it can also be seen as having nine levels. "Nava" means "nine" in Sanskrit. Each level corresponds to a mudra, a yogini, and a specific form of the deity Tripura Sundari along with her mantra. These levels starting from the outside or bottom layer are: 1. Trailokya Mohana or Bhupara, a square of three lines with four portals 2. Sarvasa Paripuraka, a sixteen-petal lotus 3. Sarva Sankshobahana, an eight-petal lotus 4. Sarva Saubhagyadayaka, composed of fourteen small triangles 5. Sarvarthasadhaka, composed of ten small triangles 6. Sarva Rakshakara, composed of ten small triangles 7. Sarva Rohahara, composed of eight small triangles 8. Sarva siddhi prada, composed of 1 small triangle 9. Sarvanandamaya, composed of a point or bindu

•
Belief in and devotion to the Supreme Power (God, Supreme Spirit, Cosmic Consciousness etc.)
•

MODERN SCIENCE In quantum theory, elementary particles behave sometimes as waves and sometimes as particles. This duality suggests that as waves the particles are connected to the field that contains those waves but is non-manifest. While the manifest reality of the universe is energy/matter, the non-manifest reality is consciousness

CONSCIOUSNESS, CODE AND MIND… •
Duality implies connectivity.
•
Particles and waves interchange information through some code.
•
Brain-mind having the dual elements is able to interpret the code and connectivity between the two sides of reality.
•
Understanding the wave part of duality and consciousness is essential for comprehending the non-manifest reality.
CONSCIOUSNESS? Consciousness generally means a quality of the cognitive mind to understand the subjectivity, self-awareness, will and the ability to perceive the relationship with each other and with the environment. "By `consciousness' I simply mean those subjective states of sentience or awareness that begin when one awakes in the morning from a dreamless sleep and continue throughout the day until one goes to sleep at night or falls into a coma, or dies, or otherwise becomes, as one would say, `unconscious'."
LIFE AND CONSCIOUSNESS Life, as we know, is only on the earth. The source of life is the continuum of waves/particles at the quantum level that carry the code of life. Those waves are present universally ever since the creation of the quantum field in the universe. At the level of galaxies, stars and other celestial bodies, the source of life is dormant due to the absence of appropriate physical conditions. On the earth, however, the physical conditions such as water, soil, climate, etc. were appropriate for emergence and evolution of life.
Human mind-brain has a special feature that enables the processing of wave / particles associated with life and consciousness through coding and decoding. Only the human mind has the capability of self-awareness and even more, to attain the other levels of consciousness.
