Check Check the operation of the signals, display and indicator lamp Check that the warning and danger labels are intact Check that there are no oil leaks from the x-ray generator

Weekly checks

Check there is no unusual noise in the x-ray generator module during x-ray emission Check the earth resistance of the unit: (< 0.1Ω)

6-monthly checks

Check whether there is any loosing suspicion of the fixing screws of the mechanical parts Check the centering of the x-ray generator module and the beam applicator

10.3 Cleaning and Disinfections Don’t wash the machine with water, otherwise, it will cause damage to the machine. While cleaning and disinfecting the machine, first you should cut off the power, and then wipe the machine with cotton fabric soaked with cleaning liquid or disinfectant. Note: when cleaning the faceplate, you can only use cotton fabric soaked with water instead of cleanser or disinfectant, otherwise, it will accelerate the aging of the faceplate. 17

11. Disposal of the rejected machine If the machine is correctly operated and properly maintained, it can be used for a long period of time. The key parts, X-ray tube, can be used for about 10,000 times of exposure. If the tube is broken, it can be sent back to our company to change for a new one at a moderate price. After the unit has served for years, it may break down and cannot be repaired any more, then, the unit has to be disposed properly. The transformer oil in the x-ray generator has to be recycled by industrial oil recycling department; and the other components made from steels and coppers have to be disposed by the designated departments.
