Day 18 (Fri 12 May) Today we begin with a visit to a farming museum, a restored 15th century french farm setting (with some not so 15th century sculptures). 1
Then on to a light lunch of only 4 or 5 courses, some of which resemble works of art. Then we’re treated to a factory where really fine furniture is built. Starting with stacks of lumber and ending up with some really nice pieces (some of which are available in their store in NYC) We get to get up close and personal with the workers, a marked difference from what we’d expect in similar plants in the US. T
hen supper is a BBQ at Rotarian Christine’s, which happens inside as it’s raining.
