Activities at Ghazni Substation: Task Completed

Remarks

Erection Work All equipment erection is complete, including  Power Transformer, Circuit breakers, CT, CVT, isolators, lightening Arrestors, Lightening Mast,  and Auxiliary Transformers. 

MV panels, Control panels, relay panels, AC DC panels, Battery chargers, Battery banks, RTU and Telecom panels installation is complete.

  

Earth Mats for isolators are yet to be installed. Material is not provided by KEC. Due to T3 fabrication, busbar and droppers are reinstalled by KEC but not dressed properly. Gas leakage has been observed in 01 circuit breaker. Shall be rectified by KEC/manufacturer. 02 panels for telecom system are yet to be installed. Table for HMI system shall be provided by KEC. GPS antenna is available at site but not in proper fitting.

Earthing Work  Fence grounding, 110KV yard and guard tower earthing is remaining due to civil work activities in progress. Cabling and Termination All power and control cables have been laid and  Power cable termination is remaining. termination of control cables is complete.  KEC is demanding the future racks to be Switchyard lighting and building electrification provided and installed. It is unnecessary work in progress. because space is available on the installed racks for any future cable laying. All fiber optic and Ethernet cable for telecom has  Ethernet cable termination is in progress. been laid.  Tariq (jointer) is awaited for fiber optic termination. Testing and Commissioning Switchyard testing and commissioning is  Winding of 01 Transformer seems to be complete. All local and remote operational problematic. The issue must be resolved checks have been conducted. by KEC.  CT ratio tests is not being accepted by Relay Testing: Yet to be done KEC, due to lesser current injection by our test set. This matter is under consideration. Note: Commissioning and operational checks were delayed by at least 3 weeks causing time wastage due to the fabrication works of gantries and bridges. Yard, equipment, and indoor earthing is complete.
