FMS Consulting Club proudly an announces the launch of the Second edition of Game Plan – The Student Journal dealing with matters related to the field of Consulting and Strategic management. The journal endeavors to provide a platform for academicians, management consultants, corporate executives and students to come together and exchange ideas. The first edition of the journal was very well received with enthusiastic participation from International and National B-Schools. Schools. The journal was appreciated by the academia and the industry as a commendable endeavor to provide a platform for the bright young minds and the stalwarts from the industry to express themselves. The printed copies of Gamee Plan will be shared with top International and Indian Business Schools, management consultants, corporate and academicians. In addition, Game Plan will be available online for global viewing from the FMS official Website.

The Consulting Club, FMS Delhi The Consulting Club is a student student-run run organization with the vision of liaising with Global Consults to increase their presence at FMS, while working towards preparing the students at FMS for a career in consulting by leveraging the growing interest in the consulting domain among the student community. With consulting emerging as an area of seminal importance in this globalized era, various student initiatives have been undertaken by the Consulting Club at FMS to focus on this domain. In addition to providing ing practical experience through workshops, facilitation of guest lectures, the Club serves as the nucleus for pioneering strategy games and consulting projects, and has developed a reputation for unmatched innovation, with activities spanning several spheres sphe like Management Consulting, IT Consulting, Risk Advisory, Operations Consulting, Benchmarking Advisory etc.

Invitation for Articles We take this opportunity to invite articles for Game Plan. Each ach article should be at most 2000 20 words and accompanied by an exhaustive bibliography. The selected articles will be published in the upcoming issue of Game Plan Plan.. Authors of each of the published articles would be duly acknowledged, as well as awarded a token appreciation of Rs. 1500.. The article can be submitted ted individually or in teams of two. We hope to receive an enthusiastic response from your side. Please mail in your entries by 14th March, 2009.

Theme and Suggested Topics The theme for the present issue of Game Plan is “Role Role of Business Consulting in Government Initiatives: Opportunities and Challenges for Global Consulting Firms Firms”.. The various topics suggested for this theme are as follows: • • • •

Articles should represent original work which has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere. Last date for submission of Articles: 14th March,2009 by 11:59:59 PM The number of authors for an article cannot be more than two. Each team/author can send as many articles as they ddesire The word limit for the article is 20 2000 words. The participants are required to send only a soft copy of their entry to the following mail id: [email protected] The soft copies should be typed in 1.5 lline ine spacing and font Verdana, size 10. Each entry should have a cover page mentioning names of the author(s), the topic, e-mail mail id, and telephone numbers. This cover page shall be detached before the articles are given for evaluation. The name(s) of the aauthor(s) or their institute should not appear anywhere in the body of the article. The decisions of the organizers of the contest and the panel of judges will be final and will be binding on all the participants.
