2. GAME INSTRUCTION (example) How to play ‘When I Grow Up’. Age range: 7 Grade + Learning: Listening and speaking, conversation, answering questions You will need: The board game, dice and counter
Procedure: 1. The students are divided into 3 group. 2. Each member of the group will be the representative of their group. 3. Each representative must put their counter on the space that says “START”. 4. Each representative must take turn to roll the dice. The counter will move forward based on the number of spaces shown on the dice. 5. If your counter lands on graphic spaces, the representative has to guess and spell the occupation correctly. 6. If you cannot answer the question correctly, you will not move forward and stay at the same place before. 7. If the representative guess and spell correctly, he or she has to choose between paper A or paper B. The representative can discuss it with their group mates. 8. If your counter lands on “YOU ARE HIRED!”, you can move your counter 5 steps forward. 9. If your counter lands on “YOU ARE FIRED!”, you must move your counter 4 steps backward. 10. If your counter lands on “MISS ONE TURN”, you cannot move your counter on your next turn. 11. If your counter lands on “MYSTERY BOX”, it is either reward or punishment. If reward, you will get the chance to ask the teacher only one question in the next round. If punishment, you have to move to the space “START”. 12. The first counter to get to the space “FINISH” is the winner. 13. The winner will get a box full of candies.
