Create your First ABAP Program Introduction to SAP. The Following Documentation contains step by step procedure to create your own ABAP- Program.
Step 1 : Log on to SAP.
Step 2 : Enter User name & pass word as shown Below, Press ‘Enter’.

Create your First ABAP Program Step 3 : You will see the screen as shown below. From here Enter Transaction Code as SE38 in the title bar .
Step 4 : You will see the below screen. Here, Enter program name as z_first_program and press CREATE button beside it, or press ‘F5’ Function Key.

Create your First ABAP Program Step 5: A pop up window is displayed, Here Enter Title as ‘My First Program’ & In Attributes, Enter Type as ‘Executable program’, Press ‘Enter’.
Step 6 : Another pop up Window is Displayed. Click On Local Object Button (or ) Press F7.

Create your First ABAP Program Step 7 : ABAP Editor Screen is displayed, where you need to write your program. Write the below program. WRITE: ‘THIS IS MY FIRST ABAP PROGRAM’.
Step 8 : Click On Execute button (or) press F8 key .

Now Click on Back Button (or) press F3.You will come back to program, save it and come out.
