Please read the following instructions carefully before filling up the registration form. ∗ The examination is open to students from classes 8 to 10. The examination can be taken either in English or Hindi. ∗ Schools can register themselves with a minimum of 30 students. Roll numbers will be notified to the schools. These will also be posted on the project website. ∗ Each student has to pay Rs 40/- as registration fee for this examination. Please pay the total registration fee (Rs 40/- × number of participating students, minus the amount mentioned below, minus the service charge for making the draft) through a bank draft in favour of TERI, payable at New Delhi. Cash/cheque payments will not be accepted. ∗ The school will be the center for its registered students. School can retain Rs 300/- for every 30 students registered; for more than 500 students, the school can retain a lump sum of Rs 5000/- for conducting the examination at its premises. ∗ Online registrations (along with attached list of participants) can be submitted at www.teriin.org/olympiad. However, online registrations will be accepted only on receipt of payment via DD. Last date of submission of registration forms is 7 th August 2009. Late entries will not be accepted. ∗ All participants will receive certificates from the Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India. Winning school will also participate in TERRAQUIZ, the 1 st televised environment quiz. ∗ Results of all participating students can be accessed from the project website. TERI will not entertain any individual requests for results at any time of the year. Complete mark lists along with the certificates for students will be dispatched to the schools. Schools are encouraged to keep themselves updated by checking at www.teriin.org/olympiad.
