Bach Timeline 1685-March 21-Born in Eisencich, Germany to Elisabeth and Joann Ambrosias Bach. 1700-Went to St.Michal’s Laneburg. 1703-Played in the orchestra at Weimar and became organist at New Church ,Armstad. 1707-Became organist at St. Blasius Church Muhlnuusen,Married Maria Barbara 1708-Became court organist to Duke Wilhelm Ernestine Weimar 1717-Joined court of Prince Leopard at Annaltcothen 1720-Maria Barbara died 1721-Married Anna Magdalena 1723-Became musical director at St. Thomas 1750-July 28-Died in Leipzig Germany

Johann Sebastian Bach Johann Sebastian Bach parents are Elisabeth and Joann Bach. His parents died in 1694 when Johann was almost ten. He went to live with his brother Christopher. His brother sent him to school. When he comes home his brother gives him on the clavier, a keyboard. Johann hated the words “ That is enough for today.”

Bach’s Adult life Bach lived with his wife and thirteen children. He played the organ for a church choir. He wanted to quit his job because mean people bossed him around. He also had to teach boys at St. Thomas school. To me that sounds like a very hard life compared to mine.

Bach’s Major Accomplishments Johann Sebastian Bach was a very interesting man. He composed over 1,000 pieces of music. Which included Cantanas, Lutheran Chorales, and Toccata? Some of the songs he composed were Andante, Allemande, and Ouverture. I think Bach’s music is smooth, and harmonious. Bach had a very special talent.

Johann Sebastian Bach Johann Sebastian Bach died on July 28,1750,at the age of 65 years old. Johann Sebastian Bach died in Leipzig, Germany. He died from cancer. He was buried at St. John’s Cemetery. He changed the world with his music. His last music piece was the Musical Offering.
