Film Club #104 is an independent film club in Prague that is specialized in uncommercial screenings of rare underground movies and film classics. The club is created by Prague College for its students to have an opportunity expand their knowledge about international cinematography. Every week the new film screening is announced in Prague College. This corporate identity is made to specify visual representation of the Film Club #104 and establish a clear system of communication.

fc_logo_protected_zone_and_minimum _size

Film Club #104 logo consists of FC Logotype, FC Number, FC Frame and FC Field.

The outer edge of the FC Field is also the protected zone.

The FC Field size is fixed in its relation to other logo elements.All elements must be scaled proportionally.

The protected zone is the minimum amount of space surrounding the logo and should be free of any other graphic elements.

FC Logotype must always match the color of FC Frame. The FC Number must always match the FC Field color.

Alternative FC colors can be used to differentiate something from ordinary film screenings, for instance a cinematography seminar. It is possible to assign different FC colors to different semesters — FC BEIGE for autumn semester, FC GREEN for winter, etc.

fc_Logo_Usage

Primary Usage

Primary position of the FC Logo is straight. It is preferable to place logo over light background in order to achieve better contrast.

Secondary Usage

Logo can be slightly rotated (up to 10°) for achieving badlyplaced-sticker effect.

Do not change proportions between FC Logo elements. Always maintain minimum size and protected zone requirements.

FC Logo On Black Background

Whenever possible the FC Field should be visible on black. That can be achieved by varnishing, silk printing, using nonrich black color background for FC Logo, etc.

fc_Logo_Unacceptable_Usage

1. Do not change proportions between FC Logo elements.

4. The rotation limit for the FC Logo is 10°, not more.

3. Do not use colors that are not from FC Color Palette. FC Field must remain black*.

fc_LOgo_Single_Color_Usage

Single color usage treats the FC Frame in white and maintains the FC Field in black.

When FC RICH BLACK is also not available use the darkest color available for the FC Field.

fc_Typography

There are two key FC typefaces. Kroeger 06_66 and 07_56 and Lucida Grande (in regular and bold).

Kroeger is the only font that should be used for FC Logo, Bar and Box. In extreme situations when it is not available use Arial typeface. Lucida Grande is the typeface used for supportive body text. To emphasize key words or heading use Lucida Grande in bold weight. If this font is not available use Arial typeface.

abbreviate words if they don’t fit inside the assigned space.

insert the lower dash at the very end of the film title** (see the example below).

force break long film titles when reaching the end of the assigned space, ignoring grammar rules. Do not use a hyphen. the time of film screening must be presented as showed on the example 13:APR:19:00 which means 13th of April at 19:00 letters should not cross or be too close to the borders of assigned space. always fill in all the information about the screening.
