Arapahoe County Court Judge Ethan D. Feldman receives the Anthony Greco Award from the Colorado County Judges Association DENVER – The Colorado County Judges Association has honored Arapahoe County Court Judge Ethan D. Feldman with the Anthony Greco Award “For Exemplary Achievement and Leadership as a County Court Judge.” Judge Feldman received the award at a recent Eighteenth Judicial District education conference. “Judge Feldman is most deserving of this award,” said incoming Colorado County Judges Association president and Boulder County Court Judge John Stavely. “Judge Feldman’s devotion to justice and the judiciary is seen every day by the way he treats each individual in his courtroom and the unconditional and ongoing support he extends to his fellow judges.” The Anthony Greco Award was named after the late Judge Anthony Greco, who was appointed to the Denver County Court bench by Mayor William McNichols and served from 1970 to 1984. The award was named for Judge Greco to recognize county judges who exemplify the traits to which county judges should aspire and to give all county judges inspiration. “It is a great honor to be a County Court Judge in Colorado and I am humbled to have been recognized by the County Court Judges, colleagues for whom I have the greatest respect and affection,” said Judge Feldman. “It is especially meaningful to be associated with an award named for Judge Greco and to be in the company of the esteemed prior recipients, Judge Linda Palmieri and Judge Fred Rodgers.” Judge Feldman received his law degree from the University of Denver in 1974. From 1974 to 1980 he served as Deputy District Attorney, and later as Chief Deputy District Attorney in the Eighteenth Judicial District. He was in private practice and served as part-time Municipal Judge from 1980 until he was appointed to the Arapahoe County Court in 1992. Judge Feldman handles criminal and traffic cases, as well as civil jury trials.
