A Course of Study for The FEI Designed for Schools engaged in the implementation of the Framework for Effective Instruction. The vehicle for exploring each of the “units” outlined below is a combination of on-site Professional Development, classroom-based coaching (modeling, coteaching, observation), and debriefing meetings. Departments, teams and full faculties are encouraged to form Professional Learning Communities, to collaborate on unit and lesson planning. Individuals are encouraged to create their own Individualized Learning Plans that allow them to identify gaps in their professional knowledge as a place to begin the next stage of their learning. I.
