RATIONALE According to Basaran (2016), human personality is another aspect in helping students succeed. The most important element to success in life is the human personality. According to Hadly and Rapperport (2017), right on the first day of school of the students most of them are put in the box to identify their own personality categorized as an introvert or extrovert, but these were not simple as that. Personality should recognize that our external environment plays an extensive role in how we react to our experiences. By being constrained to these personality types, it is predetermined what type of individual we are. The students become more aware of their career needs. Although they needed career guidance/advices from the elders, they consider their own decisions and plans in life. They are more sophisticated in choosing their courses. The students don’t easily get influenced by others yet they served it as their guide in career direction (Yabut, 2010). As stated by Ghuangpeng (2011), mentioned by Sharfas (2008), career choice can be defined as a process that describes or explains the choices that a person makes when selecting a particular career. It also helps to identify different factors involved in a person’s career decisionmaking and provides an understanding of the way these factors have an impact on their decisions and choices.

It was found out that the personality trait of grade 10 junior high school students have no significant relationship to their career choice. Students don’t take courses solely based on their personality type. There are lot of factors that they consider before choosing the track they want in senior high school or course they want to pursue in college. by explaining their relationship. The researcher used total enumeration as the sampling technique. Thus the findings did not match the personality trait and career choice. The statistical treatment used was Chi-Square Test for Association and 0.05 significant level was set for the study.
