De La Salle Lipa College of International Hospitality and Tourism Management Events Management 1 TOURISM IN CANVAS: A Chromatic Image of the Tourism Industry With A Wide Spectrum of Colors and Hues Proposed Concepts for Event’s Exposition and Exhibit The duty of this committee is to deliver and display different interactive activities and educational booths which is fairly related to the event’s theme. All of the guests can visit the booths and entertain themselves before the event and during breaks. This serves as a purpose to make them aware that tourism is indeed vast and diverse in nature through showcasing different fields in the growing industry: ecotourism, cultural tourism, adventure tourism, and sports tourism. Moreover, booths of major sponsors will also be displayed outside the venue for product’s awareness and consumer’s interest. From: Makati Diamond Residences EXHIBIT AND OTHER SET-UP The Company is requested to submit a lay-out of exhibit, stage and other kinds of set-up including lighting and technical specifications. All lay-outs are subject to approval of the Hotel. All contractors and suppliers must secure a restricted pass from the Hotel at least seven (7) days before the event. You are kindly requested to ensure that all setups shall not compromise the safety and security of the Hotel and the guests. We respectfully regret that the Hotel shall not be responsible for any adverse consequences arising from non-compliance. Proposed Layout from Makati Diamond Residences The hotel has given up enough space and area for our exhibit and other set-up. The photos (Figure 1 and 2) below is the exact layout for the said event which will be held on November 22 of 2017.

Figure 1. The proposed layout for the whole event.

Figure 2. The red circles indicates the specific spaces and area for the event’s exposition and exhibit.

A. Layout for Photo booth Figure 3. The specific area for photo booth.

Ms. Lea Rubio stated that the event’s

organizers can use this specific area for our photo booth. According to our ocular visit last July 21 of 2017, this area has enough space (10 ft. flat) for the tarpaulin (backdrop) and it has one electricity outlet which is convenient for this set-up.

The concept for the event’s photo booth is simple and interactive for the attendees. The backdrop will be supported by a stand at both sides while the iPad/Tablet will be held by a mount and a stand. One electricity outlet is needed which is present near the space allotted for the booth.

B. Layout for Art Exhibition

Figure 7. The specific area for the art exhibit.

There is one to two electricity outlet in the area allotted for the art exhibit (See Figure 7). The first booth area which is near the registration area is ideal for the art exhibit because of its vast space and accessibility for the attendees to see the paintings at first hand. Moreover, the ambiance and the lighting is adequate for the painting’s exposure.
