Basic Rationally : Human beings are rational Creativity: Human beings are creative Mastery: Human beings seek mastery Morality: Humans have strong moral interests. Community: They have strong desire for human associations.

Objectives of Ethic programs • To obtain willing acceptance of rules, regulations etc., • To impart an element of certainty. • To develop among employees a spirit of tolerance • To create an atmosphere of respect for human relations. • To increase the working efficiency and morale of employees.

Steps in Ethics program • To comply with laws, ethical codes and policies of organisation • To sensitize all as to what kind of behavior is improper • To audit the behavior of employees • To report significant deviations from desired things • To investigate the violations • To implement regulations to correct improper behavior

Issues

• Control system to be ethical it requires an environment to be conducive • The ethics administrator should maintain proper disciplinary records to ensure the program is perceived properly • The fairness should not be confined not only to employees but to stake holders also.
