The channels • The channels carried the blood and the life force around the body • This theory was based on the Nile • Bad food and bad digestion meant that the channels blocked • A common saying at the time was let your channels be healthy

Gods and healing • The gods could heal illnesses and cause illnesses many Egyptians prayed and worshipped gods • There were priests who were hired to heal rich people • The priests also got rid of evil spirits

Writing • With the invention of papyrus this meant that new ideas and medicines could be shown to other people • The Egyptians traded with a lot of people and this lead to discoveries and developments in medicine and healing
