Presentation software is used to present a supplement in much more interactive way such as text , graphics and movies.

Programs which are Presentation Software > Microsoft PowerPoint ( 2002 , 2003 , 2007 ) > Open Office.org Impress – a program which is similar to Microsoft PowerPoint but able to create PDF files and export to SWF files. > Apple’s Keynote - Dual monitor support: the presenter can show the presentation on a screen and still see the desktop or notes from he or her laptop. > Adobe acrobat – Less popular tool but easily link to Postscript and PDF file. > KPresenter - an integrated office suite for the KDE Desktop Environment.

Steps to cr ea te a f ile and sa ve it 1.

Press “ File ”, on the menu bar and click open.

Then go to your respective local disk , and go to your file.

After that, simply create a folder and rename it so be easy detected or known.

Now you can save your work by clicking “File” and save or hold CTRL + s to save on your keyboard.

Click on “Format” and then go to slide design.

After that , a few slide design will occur at the side of the screen. (content layout)

Then, click on the blank slide design.

Making an Arrow

Click on to the draw bar , and click arrow.

After that, a “+” indicator will reappeared.

Then , drag your cursor to any direction and let go.

Creating Custom Animation

1. Click on Slide Show, the Menu bar and click Custom Animation. 2. Then, a Custom animation Task Pane will appear at the side of the screen. 3. Click on the word you want and add effect by pressing on entrance and checkerboard or fly in. 4. Repeat the same steps , to do effect on Emphasis , Exit or Motion Path.

Inserting sound effect

Click on the “ Oxygen -> Hydrogen ” text box and click custom animation. Then , click the effect options from the drop down menu. Then select effect and set the sound effect as you like such as Applause and click OK.

Inserting Slide Design

Click on format , and press Slide Design. Then, a Slide Design Task Pane will appear at side of the screen. Choose your respective slide design and then right click your mouse. After that, click the slide design for “ selected slide ” or all.

Inserting Picture

Click on “ Insert ” on the menu bar and go to picture and click “ Clip Art ”. After a Clip Art Task Pane will appear at side if the screen. Then type the picture you want in “ Search for ” and press go. Lastly, drag the picture you want to the slide.

Inserting Chart and graph

Click on “ Format ” on the task pane and select Slide layout. Then a Slide Layout will occur on the side of the screen. Click on “Title and Chart” and a example bar graph will appear. Change the data on the list and the graph will automatically adjust itself. Repeat same steps for making organization chart.

Inserting Hyperlink

Highlight the word or phrase you want , and click insert and go to hyperlink.

Then, the insert hyperlink dialog box will appear. Click on “place in this document” and click on which slide you would want to put hyperlink.

After that, click on slide show on click the “Action Buttons” and select an icon for hyperlink and place it on slide.

A dialog setting box will appear, hyperlink the slide to first slide.

10.

Now when you present, you can turn hyperlink to the slide faster without scrolling the mouse.
