EASY Tutorial by Rickyc775 Steps 1 – Open a Document size 470 x 200 PX and then fill the background of the sig with a dark grey Colour number - # 696969, It should look something like this –
Steps 2 – Create a new layer and select the Rectangular tool, Then select white as your colour, So with your new layer and white colour make some vertical stripes on your sig, Then lower the opacity to about 15% of that layer so it looks something like this.
Steps 3 – Now create a new layer and select a black colour, DO the same as you did with the white stripes but obviously put them in different places lower the opacity again to around 10% and changed it to overlay till yours looks something like this.
Step 4 – Now we want to add some shapes to this sig, Now Create a new layer and add whatever you want but What I did was brushed on TWO white
“tech circles” I will give you the link to download these brushes at the bottom. I changed the mode to Overlay and it looks something like this.
Step 5 – Now we want to add your Image because we at www.ProEvoNetwork.com are football made we will do a football sig. I just chose a random football render here is Torres lol, now we want to add some colour, at the bottom of your layer column you should see at little circle half black and half white click that then select Gradient its 2nd from the top. Now make a White to Red Linear Gradient then set it to Colour and lower the opacity to 50%. (Please make sure the gradient is Foreground to background and not a Foreground to transparent). Your sig should look something like this.
Step 6 – Now click the colour circle again but this time select Photo Filter and chose a colour that you think goes well. I chose Warming filter 85 and set the density to 80%. My sig now looks like this.
Step 7 – The render looks abit plain there, so im going to add a simple effect to make it look cool. Duplicate the player and on that duplicated layer go to Filter > Pixelate > Fragment and press Ctrl + F (all that does it re apply the filter)
Now go to Filter > Sharpen > Sharpen and press Ctrl + F. Now get the eraser tool select a soft brush eraser and erase the face and parts of the body your sig should look something like this.
Step 7 – Hmmm the background is looking plain so I feel I need to add some extra things, Im going to create a new layer in between layer 3 and 4 all im going to do is add some patterns, All I did was add some basic dot patterns in some vertical lines, If You know how to create patterns then that’s ok if you don’t have a clue about patterns I will find a tut for you. Here is what mine looks like.
Step 8 – Now you need to add some font I HATE font’s lol im not good with fonts at all. But what I try to do is fit it into the sig, seeing we have circles let’s merge some font round the sig. I also added the athletic Madrid badge and did the same effect on the badge as I did on the player. Then I added a simple border Create a new layer the press Ctrl + A then Edit > Stroke, 3 PX white then ok then press Edit > stroke 1 px Black. My sig now looks like this and it’s finished.
I really do hope this helps you.
