DTS-CUP 2009! By: Alec "alec" Richardson Posted 2009-05-20 19:51:11 CDT The annual "DTS" event was finally launched earlier this week. With top teams competing for the Grand Prize of $10,000.

The event was staged at CHATRIX LAN in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine from 16th to 17th of May has finally come to an end.

The event which many critics stated that “Some Teams Got Lucky That Good Teams Were Not There”, but that did not stop anyone's ambition for this event.

As we skip to the "Grand Finals" of the event it was pretty much set who would seal the coffin after the first match. WeMade Fox vs WICKED, many people had their doubts, but this was one hell of a match.

After, WeMade Fox was weaselling their way on board the Grand Finals out of the lower bracket finals. They realized the situation in which they had to win 2 maps. WICKED coming out of the Upper Bracket Finals had nothing to lose at this point.

During, the start of this match, WeMade Fox played an indescribable first few rounds taking down Wicked 3-7 on de_train.

Subsequently, following the rest of the half no one expected a “come behind lead” taking the half from WICKED which stood as 8-7. After coming down for 4 rounds and adding the lead round it seemed WICKED had sealed the deal.

WICKED after mortifying WeMadeFox's ability to take a site on terrorist side completely out did them in this event.

The Standings + Prizes Are As Followed: 1st Place - WICKED - $10,000 2nd Place - WeMade Fox - $6,000

3rd Place - Amazing Gaming - $4,000
