Personnel Items Motion to create the part-time Community Development Specialist position and hire Janice Gerding to said position effective January 14, 2009 at the hourly rate of $15.64 with a one year probationary period and contingent upon successful completion of applicable testing and procedures Motion to hire four career Firefighter/Paramedics, Christopher Andrews, Benjamin Barnhorst, Sean Connelly, and David Moberly effective January 25, 2009 at the annual salary of $46,199.40 per labor agreement with a one year probationary period contingent upon successful completion of applicable testing and procedures G. Business Items Motion to set date for work session for the proposed 2009 budget (suggested date and time January 20, 2009 – 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.) Motion to continue Township committees and volunteer groups Motion to appoint one Trustee as a representative to the Butler County Emergency Management Agency (BCEMA) Advisory Council Motion to approve a five (5) year contract with Joseph Decosimo and Company, LLC for professional accounting services for GAAP Conversions and for Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports (CAFR) preparation and to authorize the Township Administrator to execute said contract Motion to accept the following streets in Bethany Station, Phase 2: Hopewell Drive (205.73’), Pleasure Drive (304.11’), Happiness Way (304.34), and Farm Acre Drive (332.55) to be dedicated and journalized at 25 MPH with notation that all landscaping and decorative signs be the responsibility of the HOA where applicable Motion to approve extension of current agreement between West Chester Township and Viox Services for predictive and preventative maintenance services for the 9113 Cincinnati-Dayton Road building not to exceed $10,200.00 and 9577 Beckett Road building not to exceed $42,000.00 until March 1, 2009 and authorize the Township Administrator to execute said agreement Motion to approve extension of current agreement between West Chester Township and NSG, Inc. Services for custodial services for the 9113 Cincinnati-Dayton Road building at a monthly cost of not to exceed $1,672.00 plus the cost of janitorial supplies and 9577 Beckett Road building at a monthly cost not to exceed $10,560.00 plus the cost of janitorial supplies until March 1, 2009 and authorize the Township Administrator to execute said agreement

Resolution No. 01-2009 approving changes to the proposed land use map as contained in the Comprehensive Land Use Plan for the Hamilton-Mason Road corridor, east of I-75 for Case #LUP 07-08 Resolution No. 02-2009 denying a zoning map amendment from “A-1” to “O-2” for Case #05-08 Resolution No. 03-2009 acknowledging speed zone listings for Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) for certain roads located in West Chester Township
