Client: Siemens Medical Solutions, Malvern, US Environment: Java, Servlets, JSTL, XML, MS SQL Server 2000, Tomcat Server (Web sphere as deployment server) Tools: RationalRose, Rational ClearCase Description: DC 517 Doctor's Court,Chester,SC-29706 6 provides the Departmental solutions for Healthcare institutions like Hospitals and Primary Care Services all over the world. It contains Oncology, Cardiology, ORMS, ICU & ICWE departments. Oncology gives the exclusive solutions for Cancer care hospitals. Oncology system would interface to an HIS, like Soarian or a third party HIS (Enterprise solutions). In the HIS scenario, the administrative functionality is addressed at the HIS enterprise level while the specific Oncology functionality is addressed at the departmental level. The administrative functionality includes ADT, Orders, Results Viewing, Medication, Charge Export, Scheduling, etc. Oncology is a browser oriented application and designed as SOA (Service Oriented Architecture). All requests from the browser will be routed to the Application server through Web server. Application server contains various service modules to process all kind of requests. Basically these service modules connect the Database and get the information and present to the browser through webserver. This product is being developed using C++/ COM as middleware, SQL Server2000 as back end, MXS for communication between Web server and Application server and J2EE is used as front end Role:

industry proven workflow. The Workspace is an area within SOARIAN to provide access to medical data (review and entry) for a single patient. Workspace provides access to most activities that can be performed with, and documents that can be accessed from SOARIAN, all of which are being defined in various User Interface Specifications. The Workspace must allow the user to enter newly acquired data for a patient, typically History & Physical and Orders; but also consent and education form signatures, trial data, surgical flowsheet etc.

ECILRAP manufactures and markets various imaging based equipment like x-ray Baggage Inspection System (XBIS), Hand held metal detectors, Doorframe metal detectors, and Explosives detectors. The project involves the development of a web based "Customer Complaints and Maintenance Management System" which will be used by all offices of ECILRAP and its Customers. This system is compatible with the Health Level Seven (HL7) standard that is widely used in the United States for communication between healthcare applications and consists of various modules like Patient Information, Appointments, Nursing, Prescription, Alerts, Information Updates, Knowledge Base, Patient Education, CPT coding, and LAB. Dynamic generation of front-end forms from the database.
