District Meeting May 30 2009 Minutes

MASONIC DISTRICT REGION 4A Minutes of meeting held last May 30, 2009 Held at Primera Luz Filipina Lodge No. 69, F&AM

1. The meeting started at 10:00, attended by 38 brethren from various lodges in the district. 2. The DDGM have inquired if there was a quorum, the acting secretary have concurred since 17 lodges were represented. 3. Agenda a. June 12, 2009 Independence Day Celebration. Assembly time : 5:30 am Venue : Brgy Sta. Isabel, Kawit, Cavite (aka Putol, landmark Kawit Fire Station) Attire: Long sleeves white barong, black pants and black shoes For incumbent officers : WM, SW & JW. GLI & DGLs Full regalia (jewels and apron). Lodges are to bring their Lodge Standard and aprons. Lodge assessment is P 2,000.00. Vw Natz Golla and Vw Rolan Garcia have already coordinated with the new Cavite Provincial Police Director Bro Jonathan Meiano, regarding the order of parade. He had instructed Kawit Chief of Police to secure the GLP Brethren and to make sure that everybody will follow the order of parade. The Bgry Chairman Tony who is in charge of the parade have already confirmed that after the rebulosionario, GLP will be next then IGLPI. RW Sonny Razon or RW Nitoy Abergas will be our guest for this affair and he requested the Cavite Mason to support this celebration by attending in full force. b. On August 29 & 30, 2009, the District Seminar/Workshop will be held and required attend are WMs, SWs, JWs, GLIs & DGLs. c. The 1st Class in the District to be conducted by the INSTITUTE FOR MASONIC EDUCATION AND STUDIES (IMES) is tentatively scheduled on July. Full details shall be discussed in our District meeting with regard the final schedule and assessment per attendee.

Lodges with representatives have drawn lots and Pilar Lodge was drawn by the DDGM, since there was no representative available. The DDGM stressed that all the incumbent officers and newly raised masons of the participating Lodges are required to participate. Past Masters are to train the participants and are not allowed to participate in the actual conferral contest. The aim for this exemplification contest is to enhance further the proficiency of all the incumbent officers and to train/develop newly raised Brethren; this will also boost camaraderie in our respective Lodges. The Schedule of performance will be drawn on our June District meeting at Indang lodge No. 115, so please attend. e. VW Eugene Eugenio have requested the body, if he could be given a free hand on the appointment of the district officers, they have concurred on the following appointment. Bro. The meeting was adjourned at 11:30 am with peace and harmony prevailing.
