Troop 735 Happenings December Meeting Plans: 12/3 – Trick out sled, menu planning/campout planning (Eagle patrol sets up) 12/10 – First Aid Relay (Pop tarts). Campout planning, planning for Christmahanuramakwanza a (A combination of Christmas, Hanukah, Ramadan, and Kwanzaa) Party (Falcon patrol sets up) 12/17 – Christmahanuramakwanza a Party & $5 gift exchange (Raptor patrol sets up, Poptart patrol cleans up) 12/24 – No Meeting (Winter break) 12/31 – No Meeting (New Years Eve)

Klondike Derby Campout We will be going on the Klondike Derby Campout from December 11th to December 13th. Below is information about the campout: The Klondike Derby is a Boy Scout Winter skills and camping event. The weekend involves overnight camping and multiple Camporee-type activities and competitions. When the Scouts arrive at the various activity stations, they are timed and tested on their Scouting knowledge, teamwork and problem solving skills. Based on their skills and knowledge demonstrated at each station, the Scouts will receive “points” as a means to keep score and earn prizes at the evening campfire.

Reminder:

The troop meeting on December 3rd will be held at Mr.Munson’s house Directions to Greg Munson's house from Shady Grove United Methodist Church: 1. From the Church Parking lot, turn right onto Pouncey Tract Road. 2. Immediately take a right onto Shady Grove Road. 3. Before you get to Deep Run High School, take a left onto Shady Grove Road. 4. Continue to the traffic signal at Shady Grove Road and Nuckols Road. 5. Go straight through the light and take the second left onto Shady Hills Way. 6. Take the second left onto Meadow Ridge Terrace. 7. The Munson's house s the third on the left.
