DATABASE BACKUP USING ORACLE’S UTILITY FILE “EXE.exe” Click on EXE.exe file. The Window will open and as the instructions comes one by one , give your commands/inputs accordingly as described below:Step-1 Username: ADM/IITADMIN@KPROD PRESS ENTER. Step-2 Connected to : Oracle9i…………64bit Production……9.2.0.1.0 - Production Enter array fetch buffer size: 4096> PRESS ENTER Export File: EXPDAT.DMP> ADM121007.DMP (Or say, type MMS121007.DMP) PRESS ENTER. Step-3 <1> E(ntire database), ……..: (2)U> PRESS ENTER. Step-4 Export grants………… >NO PRESS ENTER. Step-5 Export table data………>YES PRESS ENTER. Step-6 Compress extents…….>(Press Enter without any input) Step-7 User to be exported:….. >ADM or MMS or PIS (i.e Module’s Short Name) Step-8 User to be exported:….. >(Press Enter without any input) YOUR TASK IS COMPLETE NOW.
