Project Description: Design and implementation of a Management Information System linking the Ministry of Education with 5 Universities in Ulaanbaatar. The long-term objective was to provide an effective and efficient Management Information System (MIS) for multiple use by the Mongolian Higher Education Sector. Its short term objective was to implement a functioning infrastructure, both in terms of material and trained human resources, in order to achieve the creation of the Education Information System for multiple use, namely by the:  Ministry (state planning, assessment and control)  Universities (administration, functioning, Mongolian scientific community) and  Researchers (exchange of information in Mongolia and abroad).
