CREATING AN EGG Click on the Top Tool icon to orient the screen as shown. First, to create a half circle-draw a full circle using the Circle Tool. Split it in half using the Line Tool to draw a line from the top to the bottom. Make sure the Line tool changes to 'Midpoint' and line stays green.

Select by clicking on the 'Select Tool' and click on the Right half of the circle. Using the Right mouse button, choose 'Erase' and the half face of the circle will disappear. Click on remaining arc line and erase it using the same procedure above. Change view to the ISO mode by clicking the ISO Tool Icon. Draw another circle at 90 degrees to the first cirle. This is going to be a wireframe for moving the half circle. To draw this circle at 90 degrees to the other circle, do the following. Sample of drawing 90 degrees to another Circle Use the Circle tool to draw a circle on the ground plane. The first time you do this, you'll find it easiest if you start your circle at the origin point (the point where the red, green, and blue axes intersect). With the Circle tool still selected, hover way out along the top edge of the drawing until the circle cursor turns red or green, and then press and hold the Shift key to lock that inference direction (both of these inference directions are perpendicular to the ground plane).

Now split the first circle we drew in half again using the Line tool to disect the circle. Erase the top face of the half circle and the arc lines. Now take the Follow Me Tool and click on the face of the first circle and follow it on the circle wireframe that we made. The procedure for the Follow Me Tool will not work if the wireframe circle is not 90 degrees from the first circle.

Follow it to the end of the line, and then erase the wireframe circle

And now we got the half circle, next thing to do is create component to make the egg. Now go to Menu-Edit-Select all. Move the cursor over the half circle , right click and choose make component.

After that we got a single component Now click Ctrl+C and then Ctrl+V which will copy the half circle. You could also you the Copy Tool Icon and then the Paste Tool Icon. Or you could just use the Move Tool and Hold down the Ctrl Key and make a copy.

Now we got two half circles, Use the Rotate Tool to rotate the first circle 180 degrees. Use the Move Tool to move that first component circle to line up with the other half circle. NOTE: it will be much easier to click on the spot like shown in the picture.

Now select the right component and using the Scale Tool, click on the top spot on the outer right side and drag the cursor until you get the desired dimension.

Select all the components (Menu –Edit -Select all) or using the Select Tool from the Tool Bar, drag a box around all the components. Right click on the models and choose explode. Select all the components (Menu –Edit -Select all), Right click over the model and choose make component (this is required for inserting the image on the curved face)

First double click on the model, then go to menu-file-import 2D graphic(make sure that the ''Use as a texture'' is unchecked) and choose a desired graphic, for my example it is puma logo, and insert it on the face like shown in the picture.

Now right click on that image and select Explode. Now using the Paint Bucket Tool, when the materials window opens, click on 'In Model' and select the image which you imported, now again use the Paint Bucket Tool to fill the entire egg. You can erase the original image that you have been inserted. In the materials window you can set the dimensions of the material.

When you insert the image and you don't double click on the model or select the edit component (its the same thing) you wont get the image like the shown picture above. You will get like the picture shown below.

There you go, experiment to your heart's content.
