Counter Strike Global Offensive - How to play a LAN game Counter Strike Global Offensive is available through Steam, which allows you to play online multiplayer games and offline single player. As you will notice there's no option provided to launch LAN games. In this article you will learn how to play Counter Strike Global Offensive in LAN mode via the console. Prerequisites. CS GO must be installed on all the computers. The computers must be connected to the same network. Allow CS GO through Windows firewall (Control Panel > Firewall > Allow a program or feature through Windows Firewall). Launch Counter Strike Global Offensive. Click on the Options > Game Settings > Enable the Developer Console On the computer you want to use a LAN server: Click on Play > Offline with bots. Launch a game. Open the console and type the following command: sv_lan 1 Your server is now ready, you can now retreive its IP, which will allow the other players can connect to it. Type the status command and look for such line: udp/ip : 192.168.0.103:27015 You can define the number of bot with the following command: bot_quota On the client computers:
