CONCLUSION Based on the experiment, we can conclude that the average speed and the trend speed of the vehicles that passing a point over a specified period have been observed through spot speed study. From this experiment, radar gun and manually stopwatch had been use to collect the data. Some calculation and graph been applied in order to complete the data analysis. From the data analysis been made, we are able to classify the average speed of vehicles before and after the hum, the speed applied by different type of vehicles and the classification of the vehicles that been recorded . The location that been selected for this study is near to Kolej Teratai . The significant of the location is the hump that been placed at the location of site. The spot speed experiment is been conducted in order to determine the speed distribution of a traffic stream and to determine the either current speed that been applied by the road user is between the speed limit that allowed in a campus. It was found that the highest speed tabulated was in the range 15-19.9km/h before hump and 30-34.9 after hump. Moreover, it can also be observed that the speed has the highest number of cars uses which is 19 and 9 respectively out of 30 vehicles that been recorded. Furthermore, using radar gun is more accurate compared using manually stopwatch. This is because there are some human errors during taking the time as the car passes by road. While for radar gun , the speed been calculated and if there are error is because of the technical error from the radar gun itself. Some vehicles are slowing down as they saw a group of people collecting the data at the side of the road.
