Responsibilities include but are not limited to supporting the implementation and program management of the OptiFreight program. Responsible for assisting in planning, delivering, and integrating the program into each customers operation, including contacting vendors on the customer’s behalf, streamlining processes and resolving compliance and service issues. Provide analytical expertise and administration to manage data both internally and for/with customers. Support new vendor setups by communicating and logging new customer activations and by creating routing guides and communicating / logging vendor confirmations. Also responsible for contacting target vendors and negotiating the level of participation in the OptiFreight program with the customer and Cardinal Health. Accountable for vendor set-up activities to include “cold calling” vendor sales representatives and customer service personnel, obtaining written shipping term commitments, communicating with the sales teams, initiating customer updates and ongoing operating support. Assist Implementation Manager with gathering data and ensuring that all information is collected before and after implementation. Assist Compliance Manager to develop and analyze vendor and customer compliance reports to monitor program success for all implemented customers. Investigate and drive action to resolve inbound / outbound issues in order to increase volume through the OptiFreight program. Work directly with customers and vendors to increase compliance. Manage and resolve invoice discrepancies and identify root cause. Manage and resolve exceptions to ensure proper and timely billing. Prior tele-sales and closing success is a definite plus.
