Cola®Quat DQ CTFA/INCI: Dilinoleyl amidopropyl trimonium chloride Patent # 6,979,744
DESCRIPTION Cola®Quat DQ is a high molecular weight cationic surfactant based on dilinoleic acid. This unique molecule features viscosity-building properties with sulfates with the added benefit of conditioning due to the presence of twin linoleyl groups on a cationic site. Cola®Quat DQ is a free flowing liquid that is low in color, naturally derived, and oxidatively stable. It is highly compatible with anionic surfactants and can be formulated into any high foaming personal care cleanser without sacrificing foam qualities.
